  1. dopey buys Fi sub... next thing you know, he knows it all!
  2. Nope! No such thing as overkill when it comes to enclosures.
  3. Passenger side kick panel is completed. All the wiring to the speakers is completed. Listened to the system tonight with one SLS & one Type X woofer lowpassed @ 280Hz and the NS-3s playing from 280Hz & up... WOW, is the stage height, midrange & sound ever awesome from these NS-3s... I could pass without any tweets, all that is missing is that sparkle at times, but only a trained ear could really tell. Now... to finish off the pass. door pod & wrap up the fabrication & installation of the front end. And... pics tomorrow. Was too dark by the time I got done the work to take any decent ones.
  4. Note the man on the left.... he's old school.
  5. LOL. I use O-scopes to set gains on amplifiers within radar systems... fuck. Guess I should make sure planes aren't running into each other now!
  6. Nor would he of I.
  7. IMO oscopes are good for keeping things linear... but beautiful to use when level matching... especially with all the crap I have going on in a 3 way active system.
  8. dopey seems to think he can hear the onset of clipping on a sub... hahahahahahahahahahaha.
  9. Amps need the heatsink to be able to have air flow or lots of it in the area for it to sink the heat to for cooling... the onboard fans are supplemental.
  10. LOL. Eduh doesn't back their products after they've taken your money.
  11. I'll have an o-scope tutorial complete with pictures wrote up sometime in the next 2 weeks.
  12. I just realized we miscommunicated here. I meant fix our team so we are in contention. Same boat as the 'Jays... although being in the East sucks for anyone having to compete with the big two & their outrageous salaries.
  13. That gives you 4.2ft^3 before port, driver & bracing displacements... still too little. To be able to fit that size & a good sized port, you need ~5.5-6ft^3 gross.
  14. Set them as they would be when in use...
  15. Resin adds no strength... it only seals when used alone. Add some glass strands... and then you'll have something that can strengthen.
  16. Cue the Mariners (Kingdome vs. Safeco) lol
  17. Meh, new park coming anyways. Could become a very important series... the Tigers are in town.
  18. Yep.... better include LOTS of bracing & double baffle.
  19. Tickets for the Twins games came yesterday, woop.
  20. That is what I would go ported if I ran one ported... yes. Question is... at what freq?
  21. In 1991 I was 9.
  22. Plan on powering these with 300W each or something? Too big...
  23. Websense has blocked www.cbc.ca as a personal/dating website at work LOL
  24. But you have all the equipment... and can actually test vibration reduction.
