hi i have had the pg xenon 600.1 on my previous sub setup which was ran at one ohm but i have recent sold that sub and bought a dc sound lab lvl 4 xl 15 which is dual 1.4 ohms i tried wiring it in series to a 2.8 ohm load and it didnt seem like the amp was putting out hardly any power so i was wondering if i wired everything in parallel to get a .7 ohm load would that be safe for the amp. i plan on checking everything again in the morning to see if i can get it to sound right at 2.8 ohms . but if not do u think the amp will be safe at .7 its just for daily driving no competitions or anything

I WAS JUST CURIOUS AS TO WHEN THE FLAT CONES WOULD BE AVAILABLE FOR ORDERING BECAUSE I REALLY LOVED THE LOOK OF THE ONE I HAD SEEN IN A FEW VIDS POSTED AND I PLAN ON GETTING A NEW SUB SOMETIME IN THE NEXT 2 MONTHS ALL HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED

15" CUSTOM-VENTED CAR SUB BOX ENCLOSURE 4.0 ft^3 @ 32Hz - eBay (item 200421642763 end time Jan-24-10 16:28:13 PST) i had bought that one off of ebay and its a solid box i just need a different subwoofer later on down the line because i am using a eclipse aluminum 15 but other than that it hits hard loud and clear running off a pg xenon 600.1 just plan on adding a sub that can handle more power and a different amp

so when the sale is over the regular price will be 350 will that include shipping too because thats still a good deal

hi was wondering if you all could help let me know what type of box this subwoofer woofer would sound good in i haven't been able to find to much literature for it online or anything . and i didn't want to go out and purchase the wrong style box or one that maybe to big all help is appreciated

does anyone know if fi will sell just the dust caps if so how much would they cost and how would i go about ordering one

whats the model number of the amp because the mtx amp i have is 1 ohm stable it's the thunder 81001 puts out good power

yes i will get some measurements later this week they are calling for rain everyday this week here in va would i have to get adapters to fit the top post if they don't make side post batteries? also are the any other options beside optimas that have side post sorry for posting these questions in somebody 'elses thread

could you all tell me what size powermaster battery would fit in the stock location on a 88 deville i am trying to find a new high powered deep cycle battery with the gm side post

thanks thats what i was going to try first was a newer battery up front first then go from there . and the birthsheet says it's 806 watts at 4 ohms 1513 at 2 ohms and 1953 at 1 ohm all at 14.4v

i have the microsoft 8gb zune it's cool and all paid like 170 for it then walmart had the christmas roll back so it's now 140 has alot of decent stuff from what i can tell i am still figuring it out

hi i am new here to this forum and i just had a few questions i had wanted to ask . ok i currently have a 88 deville i am running a alpine 7893 cd player and i have a mtx ta 81001 amplifier running on a powerbass 15xs subwoofer . my questions is do you all think i need to upgrade my alternator and battery i have been looking online to find specs on the alternator and stuff i asked the guy at autozone and he said it was 120 amps is that good enough for the amplifier the battery is a regular one from advance auto. the reason i am asking the lights don't dim really bad till i get to about 26 or so on the cd player. with the bass on zero and no bass boost on the amplifier. i do plan on getting a optima yellow top in the future and a iraggi alternator i just need to know will that be ok and what size alternator to get that will help me get the most power out of that amplifier it's rated at 1900rms at one ohm. all help will be appreciated
