  1. One on each positive termination and you can run power from either the front battery or the alternator
  2. SSA ICON, Sound Splinter RL-p, Stereo Integrity Magnum (last gen), Ascendant Audio Havoc, Mach 5 Audio IXL 15.2.2 Should I continue?
  3. SSA Icon 10" would fit fine in that space and crush you with 1200w
  4. Someday, I swear... I will mug you for one of your boxes.
  5. How strong is the Nightshade Cone? Sundown Nightshade Pre-Sale Sundown Audio Nightshade Numbers Search please!
  6. English son, do you speak it?
  7. Ascendant Audio Havoc or the SSA ICON
  8. There's really no way to keep the voltage stable without some serious dough. Even competitors with sponsors suffer from voltage drop. You can try a 16v system, but the cost of that will far exceed your current gear. Plus you'll need to either run dual alts (one 16v for the system, one 14.4v for the car) or get a stepdown transformer for the rest of the electrical in your car.
  9. You're not really looking for numbers if you put a driver in a sealed box. I believe there is someone with two 12" (old Mag) in a sealed environment, I don't know if he's been metered though.
  10. If you only want to use one SAZ-3000D, then do the Fi BL's. If you end up with two of the amps, then stick with the BTL's.
  11. Why do you have two accounts?

Dual 2 ohm, P-chamfer, Daily and thats it.
  13. That's a toss up, I'd say about the same output, but a much smoother frequency response due to the sealed box.
  14. Flatwind doesn't do anything for the sound, it only enables the sub to handle a higher amount of heat (power) due to more surface to cool itself.
  15. That sucks! I've got the IVA-W205 and I was planning on doing the same thing as you are (Blackbird and H701). Hopefully it can be resolved with a simple software upgrade.
  16. You won't win anything without the proper electrical support for the Sundown. Add that into your budget.
  17. A lot of expensive steps rather. That KCE-900E is $65. Is it just an internal routing problem that Alpine didn't think of?
  18. This is another controversy. His alternator is a 90 amp. If he is running 1/0awg. He will never put enough current through that wire to match its maximum capacity. You fuse should match your alternator so in case the battery tells the alternator to put out more power than it can, it wont blow your alternator. Then you will be forced to get a H.O. Explain how the battery tells the alternator anything.
  19. ETA? Can I have first dibs?
  20. For that short of a distance? I would fuse at 350A.
  21. What happened to the VW Bug?
  22. You drive a beetle?
  23. Put it in the middle of the wire and fuse to the max amperage of the WIRE. Not the Alternator. And don't bump your post 1 minute after you make it.
  24. So the problem only is there with the Blackbird 2? If you remove the blackbird can you still use the ipod correctly?
