  1. Have you seen the Sundown Audio SD-1v2's? They might fit the bill and I believe there is one for sale in the classifieds. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=14808
  2. If you can't experiment with boxes, go with the proven design. Subs/port back.
  3. 12's and 10's can hit the same notes. The main difference between the two sizes is often the box requirements. The .9^3ft you have to work with is a little big for the 10" sealed, it would be great for the 12" even with no polyfill. You can always add some if the box sounds too "punchy" for you. I would suggest getting the Dual 2 ohm woofers and then wire them to the Sundown at 2 ohms. Or add the BP option per sub and purchase the Dual 1 ohm subs.
  4. That PAP sub has the same basket as the old claw magnum. That's awesome!
  5. You're probably thinking about the BTL's. The BL's would be more than adequate for his application.
  6. The Mag will still be decently loud.
  7. I thought you were selling this?
  8. The mag will ultimately sound better than the BTL, hands down. You won't be near the output of the BTL though (it's an SPL woofer). I would skip that Elemental Designs amp though, those things are complete garbage.
  9. What? No setup or meter pics? You suck!
  10. The Deka is going to be super cheap right now because of the Group buy on ROE. I would get on that. It's about the same as the Powermaster. moving to Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors

  12. No, you'll really want DVC1 ohm. That wasn't a question. The other part was.
  13. You'll only see peak voltage if the volume is most of the way up on most decks. I'd still love for the OP to clarify.
  14. Still need max dimensions. "Tons of space" tells potential box designers nothing.
  15. Usually most ported boxes see port and speakers both rear. Sometimes you see them both up. And other times you see them Sub up port back. Its an experiment for each car.
  16. iirc, Rusty offers them on all his subwoofers.
  17. If the Tech specs listed on Ficaraudio.com recommend that box size.. I'd guess that's what they suggest. We also can't recommend box sizes or dimensions without knowing what room you have to work with.
  18. What do you want to do with it? You want DVC1 ohm.
  19. If you're trying to build around the amp you already have, I'd go with the Assasins and wire them to 4 ohms.
  20. Musicality and output are two different categories. Pick one. The 15's will be louder, the 18" more musical.
  21. It's not a street beater sub, if you want something that tunes higher... try the BL
  22. Your favorite show off songs, SPL Edition feel free to post what you like as well.
  23. 150^2in is a bit on the small side for 6 15" subs. You'll get a ton of port noise on anything under 200 because of the air movement from 6 subs.
