  1. Dibs on the girl on the left. If she's legal.
  2. 32hz should kick you right in the ass. Give the ICON's a shot.. If you need more proof, Mark just posted a video of what 4 12's can do off of 3kW.
  3. Because it'll sound loads better than the T2?
  4. I glanced over and didn't really see it.. what is your ultimate goal? Loud street beater? Something that sounds damn good doing it?
  5. And cars have perfect in cabin resonance and reflection.
  6. In terms of power handling, the Q has nothing on either of those past woofers.
  7. johnecon2001 replied to lee's topic in General Fi
Do you mean "BP" power? It's an option that adds roughly 200w of additional power handling to Fi's subs.
  8. And after you sell one kidney, you can have one too!
  9. It might need to be resealed.. but I doubt that you'll need to replace it.
  10. The ICON 10" will take that much power in that box size and blow you away with lows. No problem.
  11. Eventually stuff is going to break from being rattled too much. There isn't a way around that.
  12. Normally you used 2 and 4 channels amps for your front drivers, not your subs. Stick to monoblocks for those.
  13. We don't work for Fi. When they ship it out, they'll send you a tracking number.
  14. That's an oxymoron. You really can't have both. If you go sealed it'll have better SQ but won't be as loud, if you go ported it'll be louder but won't sound as good sealed.
  15. Why did you order Dual 1 when you needed Dual2? Email [email protected] and see if you can get it changed. Edit: Scratch that, you told us earlier you were running the Sundown SAZ-1500D.. not the T1001BD. You have the correct coils for that amp.
  16. Meh, they're coaxial speakers.. It doesn't really matter what you go with. Just pick up the Kickers.
  17. You need 1/0awg from the battery to a Fused distribution block. Then run 4awg from the distro to the amplifiers. Fuse the 1/0awg at 250A and the 4awg at 100A each. Don't forget the proper crimps or spades to connect all the wire. You'll also need about 50-75ft of 14awg speaker wire. What head unit do you have?
  18. Not since Shaq joined the team
  19. johnecon2001 replied to etc.'s topic in Test 1, 2, 3...
I would take the Infinity before I touched the Hifonics.
  20. ^ SD-1v2 That'd be a good choice except it's an 8ohm. What amp are you running?
  21. You should be good to go to fit 2 12" BTL's. Together they should need at the most 8^3ft.
  22. So the requisites you need are: 150w power handling 4 ohm load price/budget? sealed box or ported?
  23. The Land Rover to Hyundai analogy is almost a correct match to Zapco vs Hifonics, except for the fact that Hifonics has gotten worse.. not better. They used to be brutally powerful amps that took a serious beating. Hell back in 2004 they had a HUGE forum following. There are some lines that Hifonics has that do do rated power. But they aren't the BXi, TXi or ZXi line. Check out the XXV (Goliath on up), that should knock your socks off with power.
  24. Cool, good luck. Also when you're installing it it all, you might find you have a bit more room to work with, so keep an eye out for that.
