  1. You need to deaden your SUV bad. That sounds like ass on the outside heh.
  2. Try this one http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/product...mp;sku=320-6107
  3. Wow, your settings sound jacked. Your HPF was at 120??? you shouldn't even have an HPF for subs. LPF should be at the most 80hz. Subsonic should be set one octave lower than your tuning frequency.
  4. Woah... where do you live.. so that I may rob you.
  5. What coil config? What budget? what electrical? what box? Thanks for giving us some info to work with..
  6. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16824002358
  7. Widescreen DVI ok? You can't really beat the performance of the Dell widescreens for the price and options.
  8. I can touch on a few things that work well for me at my gym although I'm not sure if they will apply to you (being older and all) First off, Elliptical machines kick my ass every time I'm on them.. so that must be good sign. They have me breathing hard and my heart rate up in the 150's whenever I get off. The down side to these is the ones in the gym are really nice. I looked them up once and they are well over $2k. I'll try to grab a few model numbers for you later today when I go. Secondly for cable machines.. I never noticed a great over all toning or mass builder from them, except for really specific areas. The movement on the cables and the pulleys make it so you're not actually pulling down say 40lb's. It's usually less. You can compensate, but either way its giving you a weird workout. I'm not sure what your goals are for your muscles. But a simple regime of crunches, situps, pullups, pushups and the like may do things for you that will make you sorry you spent money on the cable machine. The Hoist V6 looks ok, but you probably will want something with moveable outriggers where the handles are to let you mess with the angles rather than just sliding them up and down.
  9. I thought you were going with SSD's? Why the change?
  10. Probably not. But you're welcome to ask the same question when December rolls around again lol
  11. Jeremy's an Emo asian kid.
  12. An LD is a Line Driver. He took it out of his signal loop. He was probably sending too much input signal to the amp causing a premature clip.
  13. You can seal the SSD if you like as well, and if he listens to mostly rap.. he's going to want a ported box.
  14. I bet those are cheap heh.
  15. ROFL @ monster capacitor! Should have spent the money that went into that on a better battery. You'd have much better results. And people wouldn't have laughed at you lol
  16. The Type-X's are pretty sexy drivers. If you can get those for a good price, do em. The Hertz tweeters are really bright looking on a graph (hugh spike at 12kHz) so you'll need a good EQ to tame them. I've never looked into the OZ sets.
  17. If you have the electrical it will.. I still don't think that it's really enough to get two BTL's moving a lot. Did you get the Universal option on your BTL?
  18. The SSD 10 with Copper Coils would do you right in a small ported enclosure. You should also have a look at the Ascendant Audio line. A couple Assassin 8's would be nice in the RX-8. Or even a 12 from them. You should also look at the SSA ICON 10" in a ported box. If you do decide to sell your amp for a more efficient one, you could check out the Sundown Audio SAE-1000D. The Store here can match that amp up to the ICON and the Assassins for a packaged deal.
  19. its borked again
  20. I'd do a single run from the alternator to each battery. Add a buss bar to link them all together and then go right to the amp. That'd be awesome power.
  21. Have you thought about actually using them as a sub? Can you tune it lower? I'd be interested in your design if you wanna send it my way.
  22. no, that was really a good suggestion, just one that should have popped up later in the thread LOL
  23. I'd guess it's your Electrical system before input voltage. If input voltage was too high, the amps would just shut down right away. It sounds like you're just draining the charging system of its juice.
