On the power you don't have... The BL and the RL-p are the only ones I'd choose.. although for separate purposes. The BL for SPL and the RL-p for SQ. Single 12 for both choices.

Depends on what surface the woofer is firing into. For solid floors, you shouldn't have to compensate at all. For carpet or rugs... its kind of hit or miss what to do.

I don't know what you paid for the MTX's, but the price I found was decently hefty at $699. I'd look into the Incriminator Audio 20.1 (an extremely[/] underrated 1800w @ 1ohm) or the Sundown SAZ-1500D (again, underrated at 1500w @ 1ohm). If you email the store here on SSA, you can probably get one or the other for a decent price.

Sundown amps are pretty hard to beat for the performance/price. Do you have a budget in mind for just the sub amp? You'll need around 800w if you decide to go sealed with the Q.
