Another 1000d to 1ohm.
You can either connect two wires to one terminal on the sub, or you can run them straight to the amp. Same deal.

Sub Choice?
heh, you can't run three amps to one sub. If the amps were strappable you could run 4 to one sub, but that is not an option to be considered lightly. For the price of the MTX, I could think of a few other amps that would do much better for you. On to your sub question. Did you have a budget at all? I assume your ultimate goal is for SPL. Two 18" BL's in 6^3ft each should do nicely in your truck if you can fit that.

Hi
Just promise us you won't wall the mini off Welcome to SSA!

Hybrid-Audio guys: What Head unit and/or processor are you using?
The Honda head units are capable of using an optical port?? woah.

Problems with my system
"normal" is anywhere from 12v-14.4v Do you have another amp you can try to see if you get sound out of the sub? Or another speaker you can hook to the existing amp? Narrow down what could be wrong, it doesn't have to be a high powered amp or even a subwoofer that you swap in. Just something you know works that can test the other side of the equation.

what set up should i use?
Denim already gave you a wattage amount you need. Have at it brother, go find some amps that you think you can afford and get back to us.

Reconing a 15w6?
This has come up a couple of times. Fi cannot do it (they only have 3" VC's). If JL doesn't have the parts for it anymore.. you've got a nice paper weight. They're the only ones who do it.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!
This thread is getting a little out of hand. I'd suggest you both stop arguing before Vacations from SSA are enforced.

Another one bites the dust...
I'd pass rather quickly on the 9.1. Have you seen the guts inside it? I lol'd at them.

cd or ipod?
Linux! After having three iPods stolen... I'll stick with CD's.

RL-P15 to 2 RL-P12's?
Typically a sealed box will have the ability to play lower than a ported box while giving up some of the loudness based off of the tuning frequency. But the fact that your ported box was already tuned so low, I doubt you'll give much up.

Help
not to mention you want the ground wire to be the same size wire as your posative Another excellent point. I can't believe I missed that.

Another one bites the dust...
Depends on who you're stacking them up to of course. But overall, they'll come out on top of most other companies. The SAZ line is notorious in the SPL scene now with the ability to accept up to 17v input and drop to ridiculously low ohm loads. The SAE line takes up to 15v iirc and can drop to .5ohms (with a stable electrical). Basically, SAZ = big brother, SAE = little brother.

Help
1.4ohms on a ground is really bad. It should be as close to zero as possible.

Another one bites the dust...
I recommend the 12" Q DVC 2 ohm and the Sundown SAE-1000D to power it. That would be a great little combo unless you plan on upgrading in the future. If you do plan on upgrading, I recommend the 12" Q DVC 1 ohm and a SAZ-1500D.

phat audio's civic hatch back
Yikes @ same color wire for power and ground. Did you mark the ends at all to help you differentiate between the two? And I think I could crawl into your ports

need a little advice
there's not a regular kiss smiliey.

1 sub, 1 amp, 1 hu
You may even be able to work out a deal with SSA for the ICON 12" and a SAZ-1500D instead of the SAE-1000D. That way you have power to spare and you're all set to move up to something else if you want to. Also, two ICON's off of the 1500D would be sweeeeet. Maybe instead of a 12 you go for two 10's.

HBD Mr. Lemons!
Woaaaaah... almost time to retire.

need a little advice
I concur with the Q's. The 12's would fit your box size perfectly.

1 sub, 1 amp, 1 hu
Definitely aiming in the wrong direction with the Hifonics. The BTL needs real power and the 1606D won't deliver. The ICON Sundown combo would be right in your budget and will sound great and get very loud.

Got a Problem
I would say install them and try it. Unless you've had personal experience with the exact application.. you have no idea what could happen. Worst case scenario is they don't respond well and you go buy new subs. But you've already got them, so see how they do!

RL-P15 to 2 RL-P12's?
Have fun with that. Make sure you answer none of their questions and give vague answers just like here.

RL-P15 to 2 RL-P12's?
How much more blunt do I need to be?? DO YOU WANT IT TO BE LOUDER THAN IT CURRENTLY IS? What are you not happy with now??
