  1. As an installer it is your responsibility to deliver a good sounding and functional system to the customer. A lot of people believe the term "the customer is always right" applies everywhere. Except here. If the customer hasn't a clue as to what is going to sound good, it is up to you to help them through that process even if it loses you the job. I've turned down quite a few jobs when I disagreed with a customer but they still insisted upon their way. I'll not have my name attached to any system that sounds like ass.
  2. What are the goals for your system?
  3. It would help if you gave us a little more backround information instead of just spouting nonsense out of your ass.
  4. I thought it would be a good idea? Stop putting words in my mouf dear. Mark specifically wants to play Halo3. Maybe some Halo2 as well. Even more specifically, if there's enough interest... WE want to have a tournament. SSA v. ROE. GT: Poomoss
  5. I wonder how it sounds.. and how true that 1200w rating is.
  6. Or not, just because you have a 4 channel amp doesn't mean you can't bridge it for just the front speakers. Or better yet, use it to run the front speakers passive.

    You want the BL.
  8. What amp are you using?
  9. Just make a new front baffle and move the cutout to the right? That would solve whatever problem there might be.
  10. Wow... sexy soup bowl you got there lol

    Better for what?
  12. Why are you even doing rears? When you listen to your music.. do you sit in the back seat?

K, you got the budget question right. Now answer the other half. What final ohm load would you like to run the SSD's at?

  15. Why do you suck at Halo so much?
  16. Not necessarily. Like I said previously, if he has a good enough processor to split up the frequencies and EQ the stuff the crossover misses, he should be fine. Otherwise, it'll probably sound like ass.
  17. Why are you still going active in the rear? Passive in the rear = easier
  18. That's what he said. Hopefully the money that they charged him also paid for a kick butt processor. He's gonna need some serious crossover and EQ'ing on those two 12's.
  19. It makes me sad that you haven't heard a real car stereo in 23 years of you being in it.
  20. Interesting. Maybe they learned to focus all the sonic energy inside the car with the mic instead of wasting it on the outside.
  21. Randomly? Sounds like a loose connection somewhere.
  22. "enough" power for what?
  23. Mono Midbass? Midbass is still directional. Subbass is not. You need to put your midbass drivers in a location that can properly hit your ears. That is not the place.
  24. What does what be? Did I miss the memo?
