  1. The 301 is just a tiniy amp power wise. It's really got no go to it.
  2. One 18" BL would probably satisfy the SPL craving.
  3. If you're going to run the sundown under 1ohm, you'll need quite a bit of electrical. Start thinking about a 200a Alternator, and upgraded front battery (not huge, just an upgrade), something similar to the Kinetik HC2000 in the rear and two runs of 1/0awg.
  4. Looks killer. One question though, is there any particular reason you chose Redtops over a Deep cycle battery or AGM?
  5. Those subs look great as 10's! Almost good enough to Invert imo.
  6. Will you even be able to fit 2 15's side by side in the truck? I'm guessing you'll either have to go with them firing into the seats or make a slanted box that has them at an up angle. I don't remember the extended cab being all that big. Another thing to consider besides the space factor is your electrical to run the SAZ-1500D. If you plan on going to 1ohm with it, you need some decent electrical upgrades to give it all the juice it wants.
  7. Looks like most of your questions can be answered in this thread http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...=11378&st=0
  8. Getting your own ear buds molded to your ear canal will offer you the best fit and best sound out of any of the ear buds you go with. It's a pretty dramatic change in sound when things fit correctly and block outside noise.
  9. What did you end up changing between these and the ones you blew out a few months back?
  10. Nice 12'er. Make sure to install something creative!
  11. Could still be the power supply. Either way, it sounds screwed. I doubt very much that you'll be able to fix it on your own.
  12. Sounds like its the power supply clicking on and off.

  14. Punctuation will get you far in life.
  15. I think not installing them yourself if foolish.
  16. iirc, the TypeX wasn't built to get loud. It was built to sound good.
  17. It's a little complicated, but you can start out at http://www.giganews.com/ find me on AIM later if you do that sort of thing, and I'll walk you through it all.
  18. Those look a LOT different from my old XXX mids.
  19. As far as question two goes.. Torrents are ok, but there has been a recent crackdown on that kind of file sharing. I'd go the Usenet Route. It has a monthly fee associated with it, but its less than half of what you'd pay for a NetFlix membership. And you'll be getting advance release DVD's and Screeners. Not to mention the other goodies that are on there.
  20. Nice, is that a 15? note for future pictures.. no more feet allowed.
  21. Another thing I just remembered. Fitting a 6.5" speaker in the stock hole is a pain in the ass! The hole is a bit undersized due to the stock speakers using a smaller gasket area on the outer rim of the speaker. The hole is also like a cone as it goes from top to bottom. So if your speaker has more of a square basket vs shallow mount or cone shaped.. you're gonan have to do some trimming.
  22. Normally I wouldn't disagree with you... But this time, you're off a little. The old Lanzar line was killer. Typical, made-in-america-kick-ass underrated amps. When Lanzar stopped having amps built by Zed the quality went down on the lower lines but the Opti line still stayed a quality line. Not saying they're as good as the older Opti's, just saying.. that they're still way above most amps out there today.
  23. Here are a few from SonicElectronix that fit within your price range. I've heard all three and they're all good passive sets. They won't blow away anybody remotely concerned with SQ, but they still will sound good for a ground pounder system. You may be able to find them cheaper elsewhere, so make sure to shop around. Pioneer TS-C160R Memphis 15-MSYNC6 Alpine SPR-17S
  24. Only if you get the DVC1 option with them.
  25. rainbows..
