So these things are $50. Are they worth it? i know PE has those Dayton drivers for pretty cheap, but these things look a butt load better than those things out of PE.

I saw this done with on RL-p by some one on here. Basically my only motivation to even think of doing this is because I have a Rear Strut-tower Bar that kind of divides the trunk (99 civic cp). So any box I put in is going to either be really small or really convoluted.. and I don't want to do that.. unless I have too. So what are your thoughts? Another idea is to attach it to the seat back and then build a 1.0-1.7cf sealed box around it.

I believe it has to do with stand count and overall surface area. Electricity flows better over stranded bacause of the multiple surfaces. where the thicker stuff carries more amps, voltage is effected.

I don't even know if you started to consider this, but running that full 2500 is going to be a PITA. Your going to have to run all kinds of electrical upgrades. Why not look into a smaller amp? then you could go with something more musical like a shiva or an RE SE or a Li, or many many others. I'm sure you can get enough out of that amp to get a good 1000 watter or something similar. Hell, used ARC's go for under 400.
