He'll want to use a LPF on the subwoofer and an HPF on his front stage. And as far as where to cross it over at... that depends on what your front stage is capable of playing down to.

That's just an uneducated opinion since you haven't compared both head to head yet.

You can't "wire" each coil. It's one ohm regardless. In the proper box, the NS should handle those amps just fine.
