  1. Im just wondering. In my next van build, i should just order some boss or wolfenhags or somthing to test with? Sure, any subwoofer can be loud in the correct enclosure. Don't make me go and dig up the 150db video with Sony Xplode 6x9's.
  2. You ran them at an 8 ohm load..
  3. The less drivers the better. Two tweets is not SQ.
  4. What have you done to your doors as far as prep goes?

Was there an actual question in this post?
  6. No to all of the above. Ohms are simply a measure of resistance.
  7. You'll see some dimming to be sure. You should definitely do the Big 3 upgrade and look into either adding a secondary battery or upgrading your starting battery.
  8. You tards do realize they hand build every subwoofer right? Stop your bitching, 8 days is nothing.
  9. Did yo move your grounds around?
  10. Digital Multi Meters are $10 at Sears. Go and pick one of those up. Then go check out the gain setting tutorial
  11. The answer is different for each person. What isn't worth it to you might be worth it to others.
  12. You have everything you need in that head unit already. Don't muck up the signal chain by adding some random processor.
  13. In this case there isn't. Generally you wouldn't want to though.
  14. On the "how much will I need" question... grab a tape measure and a pen and some paper and go nuts. You need to decide if you want to do the ENTIRE cab (floor, back wall, roof, doors, firewall) or if you only want to treat certain areas.

  16. He'll want to use a LPF on the subwoofer and an HPF on his front stage. And as far as where to cross it over at... that depends on what your front stage is capable of playing down to.
  17. Get the 12". No one wants to hear you from a mile away.

  19. You can use the Kicker KX3 http://www.kicker.com/crossovers Or this: http://store.xmfanstore.com/linedriver.html
  20. Use the same size (or larger) wire as your power wire, for your grounds.
  21. That's just an uneducated opinion since you haven't compared both head to head yet.
  22. You can't "wire" each coil. It's one ohm regardless. In the proper box, the NS should handle those amps just fine.
