  1. If you know the cap doesn't do anything for you... don't use it. I doubt you'll get any dimmage with that little power anyway.
  2. Your envisioned "sound quality" will not come from 28hz. It will not come from the factory cassette deck. It will not come from $56 pioneer subwoofers. Things you should do first: 1) buy a new head unit - Pioneer units are great, the DEH-6000UB would be a great start. 2) Most rap doesn't have frequencies lower than 35hz. Tune to something around that, OR whatever pioneer recommends.
  3. yea i was also gonna say that...or go with yellow tops..they do the job also...optimas No.. not really.
  4. You're thinking of the options on the old BTL. This is the new one.
  5. Contribute by asking and answering questions, sharing experiences, giving product reviews and chatting with the member base. What you are doing is SPAMMING. So yes, we'd like you to stop.
  6. If you do SAZ-1500D's like Brian suggested, strap them bishes.
  7. Is it a dual voice coil recone? I'd bet you have it wired out of phase.
  8. BTL options Dual 1 P-Chamfer - No (cooling package includes this) Cooling - Yes HiXmCoil - Yes Daily or SPL - Daily Induct Heat Ring - Yes Universal - Yes

If you ever plan on metering your setup, port to the passenger side. If you don't, port wherever. 1.2^3ft will give you a smoother bass than the smaller box, but use whatever you're comfortable giving up as far as space. Again, this will depend on your box, but remember to give yourself 12-15sq inches to ever cubic foot.
  10. Really depends on the space you have available.
  11. what are the ratings at 4 ohms? I doubt very much you need that much power to a tweeter that only requires 30w~
  12. The sub shouldn't be peaky if you put it in a sealed box with polyfill. Ported on the other hand will peak around the tuning frequency you choose.
  13. Ask a stupid question....... I'm going to leave it open. Maybe you should attempt to start learning something here.
  14. Please tell everyone here that you're just joking.
  15. The foam most people put on top is called Ensolite. Between second skin and Raammat, there are really no con's. Both great products. Second Skin is far thicker than RM, but it's a little more expensive as well. Worth it though.
  16. In this case, you're wrong. 34hz is the recommended tuning for this sub.
  17. Not sure what box your SX's were in.. but sealed is going to be far more quiet than a ported box.
  18. as in play well? Can you be more descriptive in your goals?
  19. If it's the same subwoofer, you should be fine.
  20. This is great news! Since dB-r went commercial, there aren't many places that will help with the repairs
  21. That is the DCR Resistance with the coil at rest. You don't need to worry about it.
  22. Two that leap right to the front of my mind are the Stereo Integrity Magnum v4 and the SSA ICON. The Incriminator Audio Flatlyne would also fit the bill
