Isn't Alphasonik related to Audiobahn? I believe so. Why not look for a Kicker kx2500.1? It'll do over 2500w @ 2 ohms. Or if you have a strong electrical system in place, you should look into the SAZ-1500D sale. Run that sucker at .5 and wang away. With a HO alt (180+ amps) and two strong batteries this is what you could look forward to at .5 ohms. .5 ohm nominal = 1890 watts @ 71% efficiency (voltage fell from 14.3v, to 12.8v)

You'll get good results from mass loading the panels, but ensolite will help kill reflection and dampen overall surface noise.

What's your box tuned to? That doesn't sound like a power handling issue. Seems more like an airspace issue.

If you just ordered, you should email them and try to change to Dual 1's. Dual 2's doesn't really work for any amp other than the Kicker.

It almost looks like the coil was bottomed out.. but with the other one fine and the power you described.. that's impossible.

Its gonna be in a box.
