  1. There are an awful lot of nice subs for under $350. I know the W7 is a beast, but I'm a cheap bastard and would never pay quite that much for a driver that plays 1/8th of the total frequencies in my car.
  2. Herro! I couldn't find your old account either, so welcome back!
  3. As far as I remember, the Daytona series is the only one that does rated+ power. The ZRS puts out rated power under nominal circumstances.. but when does that happen in a car?
  4. That looks old enough to be pre-radio crap
  5. In a sealed or ported box? How much power? Which Sub? What altitude? What electrical system? How many volts on your HU? What car? What kind of wood will the box be built with? Will you fiberglass the inside? Carpet the outside? What temperature will the air be? Will the amp be ran in a cool environment. Until you can answer all of those questions and MORE, there is no way to tell you which will be better. It really comes down to what you can FIT.
  6. It's an SPL sub... You seal it.. I'ma keel you.

  8. You may as well install the 180a one you have now to see if it cuts the mustard. No sense in upgrading if what you already have will do the job for you. If it doesn't do what you want it to, then upgrade to something substantially larger (240a+).
  9. You could always whip out a handy tape measure and go nuts. And amplifier doesn't really mean squat as far as deadening goes. Many more factors to consider before telling someone to do 3 layers based off of using one SAZ-3000D.
  10. The Q and the Havoc are the same woofer (the Havoc has a different dust cap and the copper coil option standard). If you're gonna wall it off, do either the Q or the Havoc. And tune down low. Anywhere from 28-32hz would be perfect. Or you could do 4 15's sealed and get the entire frequency spectrum.
  11. You tease! I see no bikini's!

  13. It's pretty amplifier dependent, but usually, yes. A lower ohm load will have a higher strain on the electrical system.
  14. How would it be safer? That Rockford is rated at 1 ohm, and you're running above that in impedance. If you're careful with your gains, those subs will do fine off that power.
  15. Kick ass on MG's but they're expensive. Ohio Generator and Powermaster also provide great alternators.
  16. Not here. We have a forum for this.
  17. Ok so.. what ohm load will you be running them at?
  18. Welcome to impedance rise.
  19. We're pretty tired of that. So take some time and type correctly please.
  20. Well if you talk to him like you talk to us, good luck in talking him out of buying them.
  21. Motor City Reman has some of the worst alts ever.
