i saw a pic of its motor, and it most certainly does have the dual gap motor. its got a thick slug for the bottom, then a 'mid plate' and then 4 or 6 small round slugs in one layer on top of that, then another top plate. probably a longer VC that both plates are pulling on. dunno how well they work or the quality of those subs, ive never seen anyone use them... im surprised PPI\DEI is still around, i really dont see any- if at all- people using their [new] stuff anymore.

how nice that you asked im going to end up bolting through the fiberglass on the back of the enclosure probably like 3 times in that area somewhere. and then the regular clips and screws. its cool because there are these L brackets that stick out, and the door slides in, then down and any pressure put on it, goes to those brackets and then the screws. so there will be plenty of support

thanks guys, really comming along. and when the weahter gets warmer (60ish next week) i should be done with a few other things and be totally concentrated on the saturn. means alot from you guys, and a special thanks to a few of you (you know who you are )

means alot comming from you guys. i bought some more bedliner spray (ran out) i will hopefully be glassing the rear of the enclosure today with some handy dandy aluminum foil, tape and a few other oddities.

there was a kid up at RIT (national technical institute for the deaf - Rochester Institute of Technology) in the deaf dorms who had a system my brother said he would blare his two 15's so loud and distorted because the only way he can 'hear' the music is if he can feel it i didnt know much more than that - but those deaf kids group together around the PA speakers at rock concerts so they can feel the music. its crazy. their faces right near the cones and chit : id go deaf in like 3 seconds.
