Nice You will really like the A6 for sure. I think you'll like the 340hp out of the R/T as well our charger r/t (patrol car) has zero lowend. teh crown vics pull alot harder out of the gate, but the charger is extremely smooth on the top end. easily faster then the vics, more refined, but with the lackluster bottomend, definitely not a "fun" car on patrol. even my z71 jumps on it out of the gate and IMO, even the truck's torque curve is too high up the rpm band compared to my 04. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Thats straight up horsechit. I'm not sure how the law works in your area but apparently it's based on something else other than actual law. In most places they can't pull you over for something you did the day before(unless its criminal). Where I'm at if the cops here see you but don't get you, then see you again later w/o the system on, they can't ticket you for it. I should know, I went thru this from a rookie cop and the judge threw it out because of this. But yes, tickets suck, that's why I only bang on the interstate and my bass amps are switched on the remotes. The previous incidents did indeed plant the seed. this cop knew to look for the OP and knew he was going to be loud. again, it's the officer's discretion whether or not to execute the stop and or issue a citation. if this cop feels he should write a ticket everytime, well, that's up to him. also, bumping on the highway can get you pulled over as well, depending upon location. meaning if you're inside city limits (and said city has a sound ordinance) at the time you were bumping on the highway, you are getting pulled over. if nothing else, it gives the officers PC for stopping you in hopes of finding a bigger ticket in wait. bottom line, you don't want stopped? don't give any reason. oh, and if you are in illinois, the vehicle code allows for ALL vehicles to be pulled over. there is a statue in the book that essentially makes ALL vehicles in violation of something. i'm sure most states are similiar. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I'd imagine they'd have to cut the weight down a lot, or otherwise the tradeoff from a regular transmission would be too much for most people...I know Honda made the Hondamatic, but other than that I don't see a lot of automatic motorcycles out there (other than the super-scooters, which can be bigger than some motorcycles ) that cheap, korean maybe, weird named motorcycle is cvt, IIRC. i'll have to google the damn thing to make sure. there are a few around town here, dunno if i'd put it on the interstate. i'll be back..off to google and jim, good luck on that beemer! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

yeah, they don't wiggle much on price. though i disagree about the looks. if set up right, like ours, it's actually a mean looking little gocart. i enjoy looking at it, not too mention the looks i get getting out of it, lol. but from your standpoint, price is a bit too much to overcome. our insurance only went up $108 a year compared to the silverado that was traded in on it. if you like the mazda 6, why not look at the mazda 5? i like the hatch/wagon version. maybe a 2-4 year old wrx?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

your car has some to do with that. that gas tank doesn't help the sound, lol. the sw8100 is also the LMS driver, IIRC. which makes it closer to the rl-s then the rl-p. and the LMS isn't all that efficient when compared to teh underhung rl-p (iirc, it's underhung, lol). if my memory serves, you should notice a difference in switching from teh 8100 to the rl-p or the ICON. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

rl-ps don't model well, lol. and i never trust what the program says, just way too many in car differences to say for sure. what i will say is this, the eclipse subs and the rl-ps are cousins. amongst other things, they share buildhouse and cone material. the icon is the outsider. paper pulp cone, different buildhouse, amongst other things. the icon and rl-p just have really good people behind them. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the rl-p is good with anywhere from 1 to 1.25ft^3 sealed, at least IME. i loved my rl-p in 1.25ft^3, LOVED it!! a lil polyfill and boom!! teh ICON would be an awesome choice as well. personally i prefer the rl-p sealed over the ICON, but the ICON is still a great choice. i just love my ICON ported, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

what were the cooper's drawbacks? (save that you drove the auto, tisk, tisk) can't be room, especially if you are looking at a crossfire. i'm 6'2" and fit just fine. if backseats are just for grocieries (my son rides in the back comfortably behind his short mom, he's 5'9". we have gone 4 deep no issues. i've plenty of room to scoot forward), then the car is perfect. they hold their value, we are averaging 28mpg combined, with very spirited driving. ya thats about how it is here plenty of traffic comin from the east My cousin and her fiancee live in southern louisiana and on their way out of town on saturday a lady ran a stop light and hit them and totaled the car. The lady didn't have insurance or even a driver's license.
