  8. while i can't get them turned for free (not yet, anyway), a local parts store will do them for $6 each. a whole hella lot cheaper then replacing them. also, and i usually don't disagree with ryan, but in all honesty, i've had rotors turned that had gouges alot worse then 1/16th...probably a bit over 1/8th. no exaggeration. the secert is in the thickness of the rotor and how thick it will be after turning. if it's a rotor that's never been turned, then most guoges can indeed be shaved out, almost regardless of deepness. and if it's been turned a time or two, but isn't cracked, most shops will indeed turn it as long as half the original thickness remains. meaning, somewhere inthe neighborhood of 3/16th of an inch of thickness AFTER turning. but one should always err on the side of caution when it comes to their brakes..they is kinda important... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  9. lol..i wish i had time to shoot regularly.... but i'll take every moment i can..which is abotu to slim down. tomorrow, i pick up my project car... 1997 mazda 626 what kinda project you ask? oh, just a test bed for various types of walls..lol... it's going to be my dbdrag car...class to be determined... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  10. i wanna play with some CF!!! like sean, i can't wait to see the finished project! so..get to work!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  11. hmm...sounds like sonething to look into..though i'm not too sure about shooting open matches. i prefer idpa type events where my kimber fits in nicely..lol..as do i. nothing like shooting from both a defensive and offensive posture. not taking anything away from what you do, god no. in high school i shot on our rifle team (though it was just three postions, 25meters, timed and .22 rifles), i have a crap ton of respect for that type of shooting. but still yet, curiousty has always found me looking into those firearms. maybe one day i'll buy one just to have. who knows? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  12. maybe it was just plans.... i dunno..lol..but i could've sworn i built a low tuned box for you... awww well...not a big thing... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  13. ahhhhhhhhh.. fuck the luck T.O.P!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  14. would rather fuck my wifey instead....lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  15. one ounce tp on a .50bmg? on anything? hehe, my finger weighs that just putting it into the trigger guard... i'm going to take a guess here topgun..you have hammerli's? or maybe pardini? i've always wanted a hammerli 162 with the electronic trigger, but teh cost is just prohibitive. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  16. ya damn skippy!!! lmao.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  17. yeah...but until we know what kinda output you expect from that..it's just another sub...you toasted it i assume? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  18. have no clue...make me an offer.... sean, i'll try and do some more testing and metering..give you a better feel of what the sub/enclosure is doing.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  19. i gotta wipe off the keyboard now..... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  20. overall, it's real impressive in the 30-40 hz range, in car and in room. it drops off either way. by 50-55 hz it really starts to tail off...but the thing is, that's what it's supposed to do, as far as i understand TL's.... so to answer yoru question, i think it blended better due to peak output over flat response. it really does enhance the lowend, and enhance iot very well. without letting people look, they believe i still have the 12 in the back of the TB, only cut back a bit. the TL overall output in the TB is weaker then the 12, but hell, it has half the cone and half the power! IMO, it's very, very impressive for what it is. i think one will wnat a nice midrange, midbass setup to compliment this. while the rl-i is responsive, you will miss some of the kicks and stuff that are in the higher frequencies...not that the rl-i can't handle them, but this enclosure is for the lowlows.. and it's for sale. taking offers..... i'm going to build a typical ported box for it and see how it does.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  21. ty bro man! dre at bb? congrats...i think....lol.... jsut messin... anyway, i'm out...going to drive the tb today and listen to that tl a bit. going to play all kinds of shit, see if there is a weakness.... see ya!! *poof* wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  22. i've decided not to switch jobs...a $4 an hour raise didn't hurt either....lol... so i'll still be installing car audio, at least for a little while longer... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  23. i'm guess that boy can't read,i mean it's not like you didn't list your cutoffs and they overlap. but you aren't hearing everything because your subs don't play high enough..lol.. it's actually worse then the chithole with it's ignorance over there. that place has hardcore wannabe know it alls. and god forbid if you call them out on their ignorance..lol. oh well,it's quite fun watching you own their fool asses... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  24. yep..and yep..i guess..lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  25. lol..glad to hear your happy! SS has grown by leaps and bounds over the last year and a half or so, and mike has yet to change. from getting lucky enough to stumble upon a link to his site to having his own forum and following, he's always been about making sure his product has the absolute best service and performance. he has yet to dissapoint. i'm sure his life gets hectic, but he has established a bar and continuely strives to raise it. mike is indeed the man! again, welcome to the SS and SSA family!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
