looks like a sub magnet... btw, do we get what's in the picture if we win? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  2. factory tails back in...definitely a better look with the truck having a bit more attitude..lol... my new front stage will consist of kicker ss 6.5's in the "factory" area and rmb 8's in the door pockets. i've got to get started on it or i won't do it. currently undecide on amp as i might or might not run rear speakers. if i do, zx7005, if not some kicker 4 channel. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  3. i agree and this is where i wish i had more time with both subs. 2 on 2, i believe the rl-s wins. 2 on 3, well, the mag surely isn't no slouch and with an extra man, it would be hard for ANY sub to beat them. it's hard enough even odds. but it's a h2h i'd love to see nonetheless..... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  4. x2. it never had an issue in my vehicle. but i noticed too how it really came alive after 60. and then like 72-75. i didn't like turning it up past 72 as that is where it clipped on it's high level outputs. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  5. sweet bro! we need burnout vids! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  6. the grille stays..the tailights might go..i dunno... installed avon venoms yesterday, steve, on the scoot. ummm, i gotta be careful. they have grip and i've already sandpapered my lower exhaust tip enough around corners to warrant a new one, and with these tires, lol, i push even harder. and people think a cruiser isn't/can't be fun in the twisties...hehe...come ride with me... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  7. yeah, and it takes about 1/2 an hour to achieve. all you need is an 18mm socket (impact is nice here..lol), a heavy duty 2 jaw gear puller and a hammer and punch. of course a jack and jack stands help, but a lift is the shit. that color, arrival blue metallic was the wife's choice. i wanted another black truck. but i do enjoy it..hehe.. persoanlly, i like the front end on yours better, the 99-02 are the best looking trucks ever made. right along side the 67-72 chevy's... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  8. that is awesome bro!! sounds/ looks like a fun day! i'm jealous, for real. anyway... need to know more about that sub...and how to get a clock like that..and how those got in the line of fire..lol...and what shot 'em that would be a cool field trip... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  15. the sound is close, real close. and those rl-i's will drop low, have no worries..lol.. i likes that plan(getting a pair of 10's)...do it, do it, do it!!!!! btw, if you look on ROE, there is a vid mike did of an rl-i 10 sealed....you'll like it! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  16. well, since we are posting truck pics..lol.. here's the newly lifted (leveled front end) of my truck... and a couple of what it looked like when i first got it...notice the difference in the gap of the front wheel well..... 2" or so makes a bit of difference..lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  17. o chit, those are my exact specs too used to be 175 till I went through the whole sick barfing ordeal, back down to 165. you little fellers... 6'2" 215pds.. and all teenager...lol....according to the wifey anyway.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  18. thank you. and i'm an ok dad...my son and i have a great relationship though. i enjoy the days we do stuff together, but alas, he's almost 13, and girls/twae kwon doe are a bit more important then dad. well, except for our soft air gun wars..lol....ain't nothing like popping your old man with several hundred 6mm .12gram bb's from 35ft. nad he's wanting the .21gram bb's...no way! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  19. oh, oh..*raises hand* i do, i do!!! albeit a 12" rl-s and a 15" proto mag... and in my experience, and take this with a grain of salt as i used only one box for each sub (ironicly, same size enclosure) 2.5ft^3 tuned to 28hz for the rl-s in a trailblazer and 2.5ft^3 tuned to 34hz for the mag in my silverado xcab...both got 1200wrms from a orion 2500d and the mag got a brief stint with the full 2500.... and in that brief comparo, the rl-s wins. louder, lower and cleaner. but don't take that wrong. the mag was very low and very clean, but i was a bit disappointed with the output even though it was loud. and that had more to do with the box in any case. it wasn't quite big enough. in the end, it's up to what you want to run. you won't be hurt in any case. both setups will get silly loud, low and be exceptionally clean. and both will require roughly the same size enclosure. this is truely flip a coin, you can't go wrong in any case. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  20. my 3434 was like that until like 50, then it would go singles.. but i jsut turn it until i find the volume i want, regardless of number.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    yeah..lol...interesting.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  22. what i got done today.. not much..lol.. reinstalled a few subs, an amp, a few tweeters and carpeted a box for 3 L7 12's... cleaned the wood shop.. that's about it... assembled my new soft air uzi..hehe..the boy is in trouble... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  23. by cone, yeah(not counting signed cones)...motor and such..still the first.....basket, the second..lol.. really, nothing has changed on the rl-p since inception. but i guess cosmetics make a difference..... so, like the 3.33 generation??? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  24. but again, we aren't talking about spl, but daily driver. and a low tuned one at that. and in that situation, 98% of the time a large box will win and have the potential to be louder. there was simply no need to even bring up spl oriented enclosures. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  25. T.O.P. for the man.. hehe wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
