  2. i'd win. i'm bringing a gun..lol... audio-neon...see what happens when one jumps into the middle of a conversation without reading all of it? i flat put my foot in my mouth and will respectfully back out of the conversation now, lol. sorry. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I wasn't trying to confront you. I was more or less giving you the cliff-notes of what we were talking about. i know. i was just saying that i'm an idiot for not reading the whole conversation, and then trying to make a point which had nothing to do with the conversation. it's my bad, lol. i appreciate the cliff notes, they are what pulled my head outa my ass, lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  3. I say why not? x2! NOW! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  5. SVC, and IIRC, it's 5ohm. dunno why that's the number in my head, but it is. i'll email mike and find out for sure. so don't quote me on this post, it's pure poor memory!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  6. and i'll have to catch up on this tomorrow evening. i've got to be at work at 5:30am, till god knows when. btw, tested and achived my gold belt tonight!! on my way, next up, orange. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  7. ok, going by this thought process, when coasting (in neutral) the engine is simply spinning by momentum, until i press the gas and then it "restarts"? i can't believe this. teh rpms stay a constant amount, around 750, if it was strictly momentum they would go down. they would have too due to drag, both internally and parasitic (accessory drive belts).you simply can't get around those two objects and they will defeat momentum. so there as to be some fuel going into the engine to keep rpms at the set idle. and in old cars especially. i mean there was an idle screw on that carb for a reason, no? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  8. there is still some fuel going in...the motor is still running. it simply cannot run without fuel. maybe it's a minute amount, but it's still fuel. also, i read somewhere that today's engines are more fuel efficient starting then idling(if more then 10 seconds). any truth to that? is it worth shutting the truck off at stoplights? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  9. 1.5-2 for the pair should be about right. how goes the rl-s chad? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  10. you can dl straight to the site. you have to create your own gallery, upload to there and then you can link in here. look up, top right, see where it says gallery? or even jsut below that where it says my albums? click either one of those and you're on your way! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

email mike directly [email protected] have the original buyer's name and info handy, along with pics . dunno if he'll do anything, but that's the quickest way to find out. you might include the box size and how much power was ran. i can tell you that he'll go further then most will to make sure his customer's are happy. unless blatant user error was involved, lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  15. those listed above ARE NOT rl-i8s. similiar yes, but not the same. the real Rl-i8 is coming back, but when? again, there is an approximate timetable, but nothing set in stone. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  16. I'm 6'4" but I can manage. i bet not for long! i'm 6'2" (34"inseam just for comparision), did that for a friend's truck, as well as a member of another forum. i can tell you i HATED to ride/drive the friend's F150. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  17. I fixed your post. and for the record, i'm no grammer ninja, lol. but i try not to ramble and i do try to form, and type, complete thoughts. makes it a bit easier to get my point across. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee That's good, because you don't use capitals in any of your postings. hehe, you noticed?? i'm a bit lazy to stick my pinkies out and tap the shift key. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  18. the flat black nomad is my type of rod!! or any of the vette's, especially the 8.2ltr one! where's the pics of tom and this clean cut look? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  19. no argument with that first paragraph. matter of fact, i wanted to quote it just so it got said twice. i don't think if a person is wanting more then a 9mm he/she is compensating. it's just a matter of opinion and in some cases, fit. in my case, i simply don't like the 9mm round. i think some of the issue has to do with some old school though, bigger is better. it is a secure feeling for some to know that they are packing 13rds of 230 jhp .45. and they are more confident. mind thing. i would like to point out that you really hit on two things, quality ammo and practice. when deciding what one wants to carry, they need to decide on quality ammo and practice or even the best made gun is compromised. and i think they are often overlooked. with the right ammo, even the .32acp and .380acp can achieve a 90% one shot stop ratio. wrong ammo, that will drop to 50% quickly. but without practice and putting the ammo where it needs to be, those numbers will go down as well. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  20. i take it your losing whatever back seat there was? definitely go downfire, especially with a softtop. make sure you resin/fiberglass to add in waterproofing. and with a pair of 15s, or 18s, and enough power, wind noise won't be that big of an issue, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  21. that was a lot of reading. but as mentioned, great choice on the sundown power and single set of componets up front. i've built boxes like that in the past, hopefully you got short legs, lol. can't wait for finished pics! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  22. I fixed your post. and for the record, i'm no grammer ninja, lol. but i try not to ramble and i do try to form, and type, complete thoughts. makes it a bit easier to get my point across. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  23. not assuming anything, going by what you posted, period. and even after your later post, somewhat clarifying, it still wasn't/isn't clear what the hell you are saying. that's why that one line was quoted, read it yourself. read your whole post, does it say anything about seperate installs? no. it isn't till after we ask (and quote)what the hell you're talking about do you make any kind of effort to state it was seperate installs. i'm not attacking anything. you clarified your statement. but it still doesn't fix your rambling posts. your last one, above this one, is teh most coherant post to date. and as i said in my last post, it's all good man. i'm not attacking or anything. you made a very vague, and at the time, incomplete statement. we quoted you and called you out on it. that is done, you cleared it up. so let's move on, eh? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

My mistake, I had a mclass box laying in my room still. Must be from the m-class coaxials sitting in the box still, lol. lol, no biggie. like mentioned, just a nitpick. but i've done that before too, type not what is in my head, but rather what i see. don't have a clue if that made sense, i just got done reading an sqguyib post. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  25. but not in the post i quoted. yeah, you added that later, after you was called out. it's all good though. like dave, i really can't make head nor tails of what you are even trying to say. lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
