Welcome to the IHoP
Should be over 450hp of 11:1 E85 fun right there. it'll run e85?? no shit? in my old silverado, which wasn't e85 compatible, it would burn e85 with no noticable loss of hp or mileage. o2 sensors would send a error code stating both sides were running lean though. in the new flexfuel vehicle, hp difference wasn't noticable, mileage dropped a bit. i did notice that e85 mileage wasn't different highway, but it drains it city, stoplight to stoplight. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee It will ONLY run e85. With 11:1 compression on Iron heads you'd be needing race gas otherwise. The guy who built his engine just converted a race gas engine to e85 and it only used 10% more fuel on the dyno. Using it as a flex fuel doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but using it to acquire extra hp through compression does. The advantage is that it makes more extra power through the extra compression than it loses through efficiency losses in burning. Basically netting you hp with very minimal efficiency losses. The disadvantage is that you cannot let the bitch sit for more than 3 weeks at a time. i get ya, and didn't think about the octane/compression..... who wants it to sit anyway? especially since e85 is cheaper then gas , lol.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee And in his case with overdrive, e85, and everything built for it he should get reasonable miles/dollar which is the net end goal. No one really cares per gallon, but per dollar you bet. true that. you guys went 5spd, correct? budget didn't allow for teh 6? or do i have that screwed up? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

12" Sub geared more for output
ya know, lol.... i have a kicker cvx 15, in ported box, and a hifonics nemesis 750d strapped to it, i'd let go cheap. it would be perfect, hehe..... box is 3cubes net before sub and port displacement. 17.5x16x24, 3/4mdf. IIRC, tuned about 35, give or take. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

12" Sub geared more for output
I was simply implying that 350 watts at 4 ohms would probably be enough for my sd1-12". lol, the second part of my post wasn't directed at you, sorry. he has stated that this is going in boat and electrical is a bit of a concern. also, he mentioned that going to 2ohm would open the door to other subs, but there are a crap ton of svc4 and d2 subs out there. i'm just not sure if spending anymore money on an amp, for 50wrms, is going to be the answer. especially considering the electrical. again, sorry for the misunderstanding. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

12" Sub geared more for output
yes, he did. btw, 350@4 vs 400@2, isn't going to be noticable. also, the 2ohm load is going to be a bit harder on the boat compared to the 4 ohm load and similiar power. that just hit me in the forehead, lol. i know it's not much of an impact on the electrical, but it is still there. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i didn't even pay attention to that. sorry. how much you trying to get her to spend on an amp? i've got that big belle jsut sitting here, hehe...5 channels of pure sonic pleasure. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Welcome to the IHoP
Rough math looks like I am around 23.5-24 MPG right now. Not bad for that car. I'll figure out the exact number later. I think the first mod will be a cold air intake. not bad. i'm currently looking to do a tonneau cover on the silverado, nerf bars (the wife is just too short) and a 2" leveling kit. for the gas mileage though, the tonneau cover is the first thing. might do cold air and an exhaust as well. it is kinda quiet, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Welcome to the IHoP

lakers vs celtics
celtics have won game 1 of every series so far. and been taken to teh brink in each series, 7 games, 7 games and then 6 games. it's just getting started and kobe hasn't started to play yet, lol. though KG looked good. RA and PP had good games too. if gasol, or odom, would had a better game, it would be 1-0 the other way around. 1 vs 3 and he only loses by 10?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

12" Sub geared more for output
I am going to have to re-measure to see if I can fit the Mag although is 350w enough for it? not optimal, sure. but it's like any good sub, it doesn't always need rms power to do it's thing. teh 15" proto i played with i threw in 2.5ft^3 ported and enjoyed it. it got crazy low in a box that is supposed to be too small. i can't remember the power i gave it though. too be honest, i didn't pay attention to the size of the sub until i posted the link, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
