yep, it'll be fine... that's exactly what i did in my wife's 04 grand prix...i tapped off the subwoofer's signal....advantage? it's already crossedover...disadvantage.....none. but if ur going thru the trouble of running power wires for the amp and disassembling teh rear plastic to get to the sub, why not just buy the install harness and pop out the cd player? there's nothing toit in an explorer adn then u'll be done.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

u car guys...lol... i guess i need to think lowered pavement pounder for now on..lol... anyway, in a situation where ur brakelines are exposed, ie trucks...SSBL are the only way to go, regardless of today's materials in brakelines..IME, they just won't hold up like SSBL. but nick and ryan have more knowledge when it comes to pavement punders....so, maybe they are correct. but i'd still run them... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

u may not notice much of a difference between SSBL's and newer OEM ones, but give them some miles and u'll tell a difference. the SSBL are definitely going to stand up to abuse a lot better and last longer. i fur going to be driving hard for extened periods, definitely a must. if ur going for look, i'd think just eh braided covers would work jsut as good. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

an se over rlp? no...not even for loudness...IMO sx louder then the rl-p...probably... for $250 per sub, the rl-p is flat out going to be hard to beat, unless u can get a used mag, brahma or xxx. another good sub that is sql, more so towards spl, the memphis m3. or even m3 mojo. they aren't quite as clean as the above mentioned subs, but can hold their own spl wise. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
