  1. Thanks Kent. Yes, I'm keeping it for sure. I was also informed that the parking lot I will be parking in has 24-7 security patrol and is fully enclosed with permit parking only. My rep has a C5 vette and he's there all day and late into the night and said he has yet to have a problem. I hope she'll be okay and that I can avoid the ide and snow by using public transportation when I have to. Good job Aaron! that is some seriously sweet news man!! i'm glad u get to keep the pinto, i'm sure u're happier that way! and PT is a good thing come winter time!! i'm going to have to get my lazy ass up there before u take off, or something..lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  2. lol... look what denim dragged in..... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  6. and with that... i'm off to adn then off to work! daytimers..enjoy!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  7. i'm going to be getting rid of the tsunami battery topper. because i'm not driving the truck much, the L.E.D. is actually draining the battery enough over a week or so to put the truck into "protect" mode. so i have to slap jumper cables on it to start it..lol.... of course, if i drive it every couple of days, it doesn't affect anything. but i got my knuconcept battery and ring terminals yesterday, so they'll be installed probably this evening.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  8. and i gotta rebuild my enclosure for the s18x...or at least redo how it's installed. i've got to build my boy's bookshelf cabinets.... looks like i have a full weekend coming up! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  9. take it easy elias! good morning (everyone else) funny, i'm awake, fixing to go to work, and u west coasters are just hitting the sack...lol..... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  10. the aeroports (flared) would be the best option, like i stated above. little chance for noise, even with just one 4" flared port. and it will take up little volume. teh dual 3" would be the next best, but would require a slightly larger enclosure due to add port volume. still round over the internal edges. i honestly don't think u'll get any noise, or any audible noise, with just a single 4" pvc port either. again, make sure u round off the internal edges. bb6p shows about 26m/s @ 25hz for a single 4" port in 2ft^3 @ 28hz....well below what is considered audible. and yeah bb6p isn't perfect, but it's pretty close.... but for sure, the more port area, the better, usually. IMO, any of the above three options will work, it's up to u. and as to port location, it's not all that important. not unless ur chasing tenths on a meter.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  11. well....they look nice and solid,! i've went the opposite...i've got the componets already, but haven't built any cabinets yet..lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  12. u really don't need a port that is 7" in diameter... if u go slot port, u'll need about 20in^2 minimum.... however, if u go round, 4" should suffice. i'd honestly recommend doing a 4" aero, which is flared at each end..but a 4" pvc would work. go refigure, without using the port area calculator, and just use the port length one. figure using a 4" port if ur going to go round. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  13. Kent and I will just shoot at his feet ... that'll keep him running. now that's what i'm sayin!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for me and steve!! oh yeah, the snake was sold....the wifey said, sell the snake, buy more audio stuff...ok!!! but the .40 and friends are still here... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  14. ... Not a guy I'd want to meet in a dark alley. Well, then again, maybe I would. . . . hmmmmmm.... could be fun..... hehe wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i think that amp/sub/box combo u have mapped out would work great. teh rl-i is a superb driver, one i think u'll be more then happy with! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  16. good morning and we've finally got rain!! and i'm off to work!! laterz... james..no ethuggin....u know u canucks can't handle the confrontation..oh wait, that's the french. well, yeah, that's u guys too.... hehe wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  17. well, with ur amp being 900 @ 2ohm, that kinda eliminates the pair of 10's, being all of mike's driver's are d4, u'll never get the impedence u'll need. teh one 12"rl-p in 1.25ft^3 sealed would be sweet...and that can range from about 1.15 to 1.5, depending upon musical preferance. i'd also suggest anywhere from 1.5 to 2ft^3 ported tuned to 32-34hz...no real loss of sq and the output gain is worth it. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  18. while mike's enclosure idea's will work (i mean they are his subs..lol)..i'd build 2ft^3 tuned to 32-34hz....u'll still grab the low's, and have a higher peak in output. u won't sacrifice anything in the way of sq IME..... but any of the three will work and work well... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  19. Red Rocks the venue in Colorado?! You better believe it's still open http://www.redrocksonline.com Edit: rawr finebar beat me to it! holy hell...lol...red rocks has a website..lol... damn, i am behind the times.... if anyone has not seen a concert at red rocks and u get the chance...GO! u've never been to a concert till u've been to red rock!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  20. just a quick drop in to say.. well... nothing..... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  21. mike cancelled the d2, all the new driver's are d4... u need to share some of those drugs...lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
