LUNAR AMPS
Ah, but we don't know what is inside or how the actual pieces are manufactured. Keep in mind he said they are all "HAND BUILT IN THE USA." That right there will drive the price up considerably. And for good reason. While we're on the subject; Any info on the design/layout and components used? People complain about Zapco's prices, but open up a Zapco amp and you'll know why they cost so much. agreed about the handbuilt thing. but yet, a few features,ie: crossover, would be nice for that price tag. also, i'd prefer seperate speaker out/power in terminals... but that's just me....lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Brahma VS. RL-P
while i have zero experience with the brahma, i have plenty with the xxx (and yeah, i know they are different) if u like the sound of ur e12a, u'll likely like the sound of the rl-p as they are based of the same motor. however, teh rl-p is a tweaked version of the tc9 motor and as such will do differently. the rl-p is a smooth sub that can indeed keep up with the very best in the sq department. it can indeed get loud and gets insanely low, even in smaller enclosures. it does well in both ported and sealed apps and in the proper enclosure can handle ur amp easily (with properly set gains as well) i would imagine the brahma to have a bit more output potential if it's anything like the xxx. i have read it doesn't quite handle power the way the xxx does, so that would put it quite even with the rl-p in that department. the xxx is a clean sub, but is a touch more finiky with the enclosure. if the brahma behaves similiarly, u'll need a larger sealed or ported box to get the same low end the rl-p will offer. lastly, budget. teh rl-p is easier on the pocketbook. it also requires a bit less in the power department, though against the brahma, that may be mute as i've read the brahma does great on lower power as well. customer service will probably be pretty even as well, as adire as some excellent ppl working for them, and mike's at SS is well known. this is a good one, one i don't envy u of..lol. if price and space is of issue, the rl-p would probably be the better choice. availability(waiting for the sub),space and money no object, the brahma is a great choice. good luck and i don't believe u'll be disappointed either way! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Name The Towers
i vote for the Muses.... lol...naming the towers... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
Welcome to the IHoP
steve...u should name ur towers the Muses devillian..unions are a good and bad thing as jmac pointed out. but ur dad is also correct. they do in fact "spoil" the workforce. so much in fact that even if a person gets fired justly, a good union, thru arbitration, will have said person reemployed, with back pay, quite rapidly. and the workers get complacent about job security..and production can suffer. conversely, without unions in some workplaces, places where u're constantly endanger, or exposed to hazardous materials, u could possibly be working for nothing and to die. they can and do tend to offer the worker a safer place to work and help keep employers from cutting safety corners. my stance on unions? divided. even though i'm part of one, i could honestly care less. though it does help in the benefits area, it sucks because of seniority a good worker will get laid off while a lazy retains their job. and it's hard to get ppl to retire and move up when they are in the gravy. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

why does one of my subs pop?
ur deck should have cut it off at 80.... but instead of speculating, i'll just reply this way.... u have since backed ur gain down a bit, reset the x-over and teh subs are playing fine? my guess is that between ur adjustments, u cured the problem. and if ur not experiencing the popping anymore, u should be fine. as to the one sub doing it and not the other, well, that's a question best reserved for the man who had them built...lol..especially since ur running sealed.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

noone dissin explorer's when it comes to getting loud! they are quite loud! as in replacing the crx and running with the panda loud.... but yeah, u gotta ditch the 8 guage.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- impedance question
what supa said... orion 2500d specs 1200 wrms @ 4ohm 1700 @ 2ohm 2500 @ 1ohm.. what more could u ask for? how about HCCAFan selling them for $500 BNIB?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- LUNAR AMPS
while looks aren't necessarly tops on my list, i gotta agree with supa. also, for $400, it's kinda lacking on features, ie: good crossover. so unless it actually produces like 1500wrms, i think it's a bit on the expensive end for what ur getting. especially when i can get a mc1000d for around that price and know i am getting 1100+wrms... just an opinion here... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- Tell Me....
i concur. back in the day blaupunkt was actually pretty highend, but they haven't appeared to keep up in the performance/options/technology/appearance race. they have drifted towards budget oriented systems and for that, they are decent. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- Welcome to the IHoP
Did ya have to bust up some knee caps? nope...lol...simple phone call... and well phrased words... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- Welcome to the IHoP
welp..one person just paid me back...lol....$750..what to do? what to do? Isaac...u listening...lol.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- Amps
