sammy...welcome!! ok, the rl-i's would work great off the 850 or so @ 4ohm, especially in about .75ft^3 each. also, they only come in the dual 4 config to keep costs down. mike did a GB of d2 rl-ps, but i'm not for sure that will happen for the rl-i's has they were never offered with the dual 2 coils. as to the downfiring, ur going to need about 1"-1.5" between sub face and floor. that should allow enough for excursion. if u can allow more, that would be good, but 1.5" would be what i would shot for minimum. as to how close the sub can be to the back of the box, 1/2" should be plenty. u want to make sure the vent has enough room, and IME 1/2" is more then enough, even though i've had to build as close as 1/4". but 1/2" would be my goal. also, the rl-i is a great, musical sub, and in .75ft^3 sealed would be awesome. it might not be the loudest thing on the planet, but it should definitely let ya know it's there.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

steve..DRUM SANDER...not rotary file... it's basiclly a rubberized barrel that a sandpaper sleeve fits over and u tighten down the nut on the shank ( no good way to say that..lol) to keep the sandpaper on...u can get as course of a grit as u wnat..it'll eat plywood, trust me...lol... all files suck for wood except extremely rough teeth ones... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i guess i did have a few things to say...lol.. we did a crew cab truck yestereday...2005 gmx sierra 2500hd, mclass 6.5 and 5.25 coaxils in the front doors powered by a memphis 3002 IIRC, memphis pr 6.5 is the rear off the deck and three kicker comp 10's in 2ft^3 sealed(before polyfill) behind the back seat powered by a memphis 1100d. the guy let us cut up the front door panel to get the 5.25 in where the factory tweeter did live, but we couldn't cut the carpet to run wires....so everything was put under the driver's side back seat and loomed. and...after going all memphis, he uses kicker subs. and here's the best part..after i get the box built, including a 1/4" trim ring so the subs will fit (box is 6" deep at the bottom, 2" deep at tjhe top and the subs are 4" up from the bottom due to the metal brackets on the back seat and 1/2" mdf), i'm told we could have used mclass subs..they are shallower...bastages.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

good morning only going to be 95* here today..with a heat index of 115* and to you arizona fools....your "dry" heat is a whole lot easier on a person then this 85-90 % humidity stuff. i'm not saying it's not hot, 100+ is hot no matter what, but you guys actually have it easy... and if we think where i live is bad, we need to drive down to lousiana or alabama or mississippi.....whew... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
