  1. was a sexy lil vid mr. mark! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  2. Just a tip, its myLSQ, not myLSQ, LSQ is a database coding language. ok, it's my SQL, (i'm no programmer). however, denim has changed something in the forum to make SQL appear as LSQ. as it's more fitting to audio, and more accurate. but if mySQL is coding language, then maybe that's what is causing the issues? the automatic changing for regular members of SQL to LSQ. and shizzon probably got it right bose, lol. the forum changed it on him. btw, LSQ = loud sound quality wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  3. with a really big hammer? i wish i could remember, but it's been awhile. i'd need one in front of me. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  4. I kind of saw it coming... I wanted to see how it was going to end in a bad wreck?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  5. damnit, lol. where the hell is aaron?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  6. i wish, lol $45k is just a bit outa the price range at the moment, lol. though we are looking at a new 08 xcab silverado 4x4. i really miss my truck, lol.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  7. tried twice, still no go. anyone else? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  8. rampage jackson has one. TUF showed him driving off in it in the last episode. tis a sweet ride!!! and yeah, i think you deserve one. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  9. the fact is, IMO, lol, that sq is so subjective and spl is definitive, that spl is here to stay and will continue to flourish. and let's not forget, it's way easier to get loud, then to sound really good. and that's the american way. and with some many new products, the internet and god knows how many tutorials, it's far less expensive to get loud as well. a couple runs of wire, a couple of batteries, an alternator, a big box, a huge amp and massive subs....lol. and with today's music seemingly concentrating on the lows, why build for anything else? besides, it's way too cool to piss everyone off with the knock then it is to impress them with the clarity, right? ask LB, lol.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  10. awwwww.....hpos and a 1000d?? pure old school memphis sex there brother!! probably the best under seat setup i ever did in my silverado was that exact setup. save for the ICON and memphis belle!! welcome to ssa!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  11. truck? lol, the truck gave it's life for a mini cooper. unless you meant the trailblazer. in that cse, it might be forgoing living with us for a new silverado to move in, lol. i really, really, really miss my truck. and some stupid old man owns it now and drives it at 35mph everywhere!! left the flame grille in and everything, and it don't even see dirt/mud anymore! oh well. gotta move on, lol. and thanks wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  12. damn ryan1, you on top of things, lol! ok, i'm out of e cookies. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  13. tom, you get the cookie for the Y. it is indeed the sharp junction that makes the Y a Y. <-- heh, spells yay. jim, i'll give you half a e-cookie. it is an hitachi router, not a festool. but since you mentioned it, you win! can you spot the ghost? (i just saw it myself) wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  14. all over the place, lol. some alternator companies even sell the kits to do this. fairly easy and straight forward, one can google it and find the info needed. if that fails, i'll look and see. but just for clarification, this is an 07 classic and not the new body style? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  15. here's a in process routering of the faces. using a 1/8th larger then the bit bearing, we get the needed clearance for the face/trimcap to fit over the letter. also, our router table and the mess it makes and the plunger router which will live it's life forever upside down, lol. can you guess the brand?? anotehr e-cookie up for grabs!! where the BOYS will soon be living. see the B without the face? the C from scrap will soon be there and SRAP will be gone to make room for BOYS. SRAPB on my table, C in front of OOKIN", to make COOKIN'. isn't wired up yet, need to run one more piece of gto from teh 12000volt transformer to the ignitor on the C. then wait for BOYS to be painted, insert LED and transformer, and tada! kountry boys cookin' will be done!! (kountry already done from yet another different set of letters, going for a red neck look) more later. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  16. the Y and S tacked together, and the whole set routed out. while maybe not a big thing, each letter is a single piece of return material ( save teh B and O, but the additional pieces are the centers. the outside is a single piece on them). bending the Y in a single piece was fun, can you guess the starting point? for an e-cookie, lol. my first set of letters in ~ 5years. the backsides. prepped and ready for.... the red plastic that will become the faces. they are vhb taped on, drilled with a uni bit for the centers to get routed, and routed out. end result? a slightly larger plastic twin! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  17. good to know, i suppose. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  18. Sorry, I still can't get over why you would have two different subwoofers in the same installation. to further explain what might help a sub play lower. he's using the example of identical installs, different subs, only difference being one sub has a higher amount of linear excursion. however, my response would be if the setups are the same, assuming even power, the excursion wouldn't come into play. not unless that sub was also a bit more efficient. in theory, the subs should move the same to reproduce the notes in identical setups, if the subs are the same except excursion. but i'm just stabbing at the dark, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  19. Myth. Your whole vehicle is a ground wire. damn it, you beat me to it!! lol.. so grounding the rcas didn't help? while checking your battery connections, check the battery. it acts as a noise filter, and if it's bad/going bad due to the new power being pulled from it, that could be some of the issue. Hmmm....Let me also mention one more thing...I only attached the ground wire to one of the RCA's....Do you think I should try attaching a separate wire to each one?? Also, when I was wiggling on the RCA's I noticed that the sound would change???? I'd sure hate to replace the RCA's since these are nice one's (Tsunami Elite Series) are you using the sub out (if the headunit has one)? if so, the output from it and the input on the amp should both be summed. meaning, basicly a single channel of output, input. but i'd ground both to see. wouldn't hurt. even good rcas go bad. also, USamps had a problem like this. so it might not be rca induced, but rather (because this amp is a b stock), the inputs could have a weak ground inside, thus causing the noise. simply grounding the rcas will fix that though. keep us updated. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  20. i'm guessing the 9mm is a beretta 92f. decent handgun, my bro-in-law just picked one up with four mags for $300. worth a tad bit more. (actually i cheated and googled it, lol.) the .38 for home? i'd run a hollowpoint in the 90-100 grain area with +p. lighter bullet, little more speed, should expand nicely and create havoc as far as a wound channel goes. and being a lighter hollow, shouldn't overpenetrate like a heavier bullet in +p. if the gun isn't +p rated, go heavy bullet with a standard load, if under 900fps. big, slow punch. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  21. Myth.
