amplifers???
i've been talking to him about it. he's going to hold off until he can decide what he wants a rep responsible for. also, he wants to make sure he's going to be able to provide product on a consistant, steady basis. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

amplifers???
one thing at a time denim mike has said he'd like to keep it simple and make sure he can maintain a certain quality and inventory while growing. does that mean never? no, just not right at this moment. he did hint at maybe offering an h/t set-up including enclosure and plate amp. but that is just in the "it could happen soon" design stage with mike's head.. honestly, i think a componet set would be the next logical step in the progression of soundsplinter, esp with the hint of an h/t sub. imagine an diy sub-componet h/t kit? but again, that's reaching a bit far into the future and mike's wallet... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

8" SoundSplinter future???
he didn't say, but i don't think it will change much, if any at all..the rl-i's are built lil buggers, i'd think an 8 with that motor would take 300wrms easily...if if they had too use a slightly smaller vc, but i don't think they would have too wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

8" SoundSplinter future???
from what mike has told me, the 8" soundsplinter is a 95% certainty. it will based on the tc2+ motor, so it will be an rl-i. the 18" is on hold as tc is looking for a supplier of 18" baskets and such. the LMT is looking grim, however, he has about a month before he knows 100% i'm sure mike will get in here and clarify, but that's the way it's looking as of right now, from my understanding. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Who's the best here?
by "capping" i meant what ends to u want overlapping what ends? i've got it figured out for the most part....teh 1" acrylic ur having done...all i've got to worry about is 1" mdf cut as follows 2 pcs @ 13" x 32"--- top & bottom 1 pcs @ 13 1/2"x 32"--- back 2 pcs @ 11 1/2" x 13"--- sides if i can get the acrylic mirror and assuming 1/4" thickness (add 1/4" to the length of the t,b and b, add 1/8" to depth of t and b,if the acrylic is 1/8" thick except sides which will remain the same) 2 pcs @ 12 3/4" x 29 1/2"--- top & bottom 1 pcs @ 11 1/2" x 29 1/2"--- back 2 pcs @ 11 1/2" x 13"--- sides check those and make sure they are correct.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I'M DEAD An older couple is lying in bed one morning, having just awakened from a good night's sleep. He takes her hand and she responds, "Don't touch me." Why not?" he asks. She answers back, "Because I'm dead." The husband says,"What are you talking about? We're both lying here in bed together and talking to one another." She says, "No, I'm definitely dead." He insists, "You're not dead. What in the world makes you think you're dead?" "Because I woke up this morning and nothing hurts." OFF MY CHEST A very pert and attractive female employee meets with her boss and says, "I'd like to get something off my chest." "What's that?" asks the boss. "Your eyes," she replies. THERAPY Marvin had been feeling down for so long that he finally decided to seek the aid of a psychiatrist. At the psychiatrist's office, Marvin spilled his guts, then waited for the profound wisdom of the psychiatrist to make him feel better. The psychiatrist asked Marvin a few questions, took some notes then sat thinking in silence for a few minutes with a puzzled look on his face. Suddenly, he looked up with an expression of delight and said, "I think your problem is low self-esteem. It's very common among losers." wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i've heard rumors of a big thunder amp....my wife's company can get mtx for employee's only..and their rep was talking to my bro-in-law...another thing was their dclass amps were going to be 1 ohm stable this year as well... but i don't know about all that... memphis is rumored to have a 6kw on the way that's strappable...yep..strappable..12kw! they have a few made, but are trying to get it perfect before launching it...a friend (dbdrag world champ) is supposed to be getting one to test, if the rep can get it authorized... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

RE's new sub
tire elaborated beautifully on what i originally brought up...6 cubes gross for one 15"...and the need for 2k+ in power...most kids just aren't going to prepare their vehicle right.. the bandwagon...lol.....yeah....the bandwagon. that's what's so nice here....there is an si , powerbass, ss, and kicker forum...u wanna preach the virtue's..u can in their own forum..and ur not cluttering up the rest of the forum with "______ brand is god..rules all" but rather, u get...." all these brands are capable..depends on what ur after and how much room u have. and $$$" i like it here wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
