i'd imagine that the directed 1100d puts out as much if not more power then the bx1500d....ud have to get the bx1800d.. the w6's u have are pretty intense subs...maybe just change ur box to one more spl oriented? unless ur deadset on getting new stuff, u've got some pretty nice equipment already. u might need to go to 15's to get the desired output ur after as well... a couple of things i would do... change ur wiring to 0 gauge and do the BIG 3 (check out the amp/electrical section, it's pinned there)..that'll help u increase ur voltage and gain a little spl as well. if ya can, get us the dimensions of ur current enclosure, maybe we can get u one designed to optimize ur current set-up. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

damn..mustangs suck..lol... i built a 1.75ft^3 after displacement for a mustang (not cobra, but from the mid/late 90's) to hold a 12" mtx 7500.. it was 12" tall to slid in from the front, with the back seat folded down. the sub faced up while the port faced forward(or back..lol) overall dimensions were 12tx32lx14d it still was almost a shoehorn fit.. as to the wiring, luckily it was already done... good luck, hope that helped a little...pics are in the showoff section...the mustang box pics wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the port will fit easily in the box..... on the surface, it's 1.5" wide x 4" long and it's 10.75" deep...won't interfere with the sub at all.. the box is 13" tall x 14" long x 18" deep right? the sub will be on a side that is 13" x14" correct? if so, move the port to a side that is 13"x 18" or put the port facing up . either way will work, and not affect sq enuff for anyone to tell. also, 1" mdf is overkill for these subs/boxes. 3/4" is plenty large and in all honesty 1/2" would work with a little bracing... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

if i remember correctly, ur wanting 1ft^3 tuned to 33 hz correct...ok.. u can't use a 4x13 port in that size box, the port would need to be over 102" long according to bass box 6 pro... the way u have the formula written, i got a port length of over 2900".... ur box is too small for a large port. ur going to need to tune higher, run a larger box or use a smaller port..... using a box 13x14x18 (assuming 3/4 mdf is used), ur port can be 4x1.5x10.75 to get the wanted tuning freq. hope that helps..... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
