  3. post or ban when you find out, lol. and the kimber leaves saturday. i will not own a pistol that rusts when cared for properly, nor own a brand that will not be backed by good customer service. they have a on eyear warranty that starts at day of receipt at dealer. damn thing was recieved in oct 2005. i bought it february of this year. so they'll discount the refinishing, at an additional cost of $200, and replace the grip safety and hammer for free. yeah, bite me. and i'm off to work. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you should have bought a springfield i'm looking for another .22 plinker around $350 or less (at least until i change my mind) anyone have experience with the sig mosquito? i traded the kimber in on a springfield today!! 4" bull barrel, stainless steel, ambi safety, holster, mag pouch and extra clip. can't wait to set this puppy off. pics when i get it!! early mosquitos had some reliability issues, but it's a sig. i doubt they had issues for long, lol. i'm thinking about one of those or a walther p22. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee i hated and i do mean HATED the way the p22 felt in my hand.
  4. i like the flip up plate to keep muzzle rise down during autofire, lol. but with no recoil pad, and a no stress situation (ya know, no one firing back) a crap ton of ammo would hurt after awhile, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  13. i do have a question though. you mentioned the port bends along the back wall. did you measure the length of the port down the middle or did you build it with a total of 33" of inside port wall? I measured down the middle of the port. I even drew a line on the box down the middle of the port before gluing and measured that line. The line is actually 31 3/4 in. because according to JLs tuturial I'm supposed to add half the width of the port if the port is running along one of the walls of the box. So, my port length is either 33 in or 31 3/4 in. I believe JL so, I say 33 in. As far as port noise go, my first box was 2.6 cubic ft and has a 1 3/4 in x 11 1/2 in port. I can't hear port noise while I'm driving and didn't know it existed until I decided to take a few videos on my digital camera. So, at least for my car, port noise only happens when you pop the trunk and watch the sub play, but not when I'm driving. Thanks for all the support, and hopefully this damn rain stops so I can finish building. i see this mistake all the time. your actually suppose to subtract half the port from the LV (port length) to get PLV (physical port length). adding physical port length to the port will effectivly lower your tuning even more. the point is you're suppose to try and shorten the port because the air is going to use part of that wall as the port, so you take away half the port width, so that your subwoofer still "see's" good catch. i didn't really pay attention to where he said he "added" half the port width to make up for the rear wall. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  14. jim's got a pic on here by a tractor, lol.. and jntar had a goofy ass pic on his yamadog... none of them as serious as neil though, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  21. try the box on the website, maybe tune it higher, say 32-34hz. i'd honestly say anywhere from 5-7 @ 32-34 would be a pretty damn decent all around enclosure for an 18. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  22. really interested in the response, lol. i have two 12" ti's sitting here in need of recones. but IIRC, Fi doesn't have the necessary spider size, as the Ti uses an 8" version or something along them lines. in any case, moved this so the right people will find it. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:slayer:
