Welcome to the IHoP
hey ryan2! i traded the train in on a 2006 cobalt blue roadking. i have a cell phone pic, but it just doesn't do it justice. i've already swapped out the "pancake" turn signals for "bullet " versions (front was a pain in the ass, TG for soldering guns, lol), pulled off the heel shifter (i hate those things), added front axle nut covers and rotated the mini ape's a bit forward. it's got a bit too much chrome for my liking, but overall the bike is damn sexy and hella comfortable. and it runs pretty sweet. i've removed teh baffles from the python exhaust and man does it have a hot rod sound. i'll try and get a good recording of it. sounds way big!! ^^^^^ what i had ^^^^^ what i got, lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i wouldn't bet on it. the challanger and camaro are the only things i'm waiting on seeing. if the camaro is anything like they say, the trailblazer will probably be traded in on one. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

budget new car
car is a 1988 toyota camry deluxe 4wd sedan. all factory. double din h/u, 4" fronts, 5.25" rears. here are the wants.. single din h/u 4" two ways 5.25" two ways budget for everything, including dash kit/harness is right around $300-$350. would like a h/u with sub control for later and a dedicated sub preout at the bare minimum. all stuff can be used and if it's something personal, i even have some stuff to trade to help. i have a mach5 12, or a la x2 12, or a rl-i8 or a rl-p12 or a pair of clarion 8's for subs, but that will come later. right now, just the basics. i'm asking you guys to help because i really don't have the time to dig around the net to find the best deal. hook a brother up, please?!?!?! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

For the Corvette lovers that missed my post in the IHOP...
I've heard they're improving the materials of the interior for the '08 model year. Don't know how accurate that is though. let's hope so wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

cactus sounds amps
cactus sounds? lol, jsut some of the strongest amps money can buy. batteries are pretty stout as well. that's the word according to james herren. while he is testing something sweet not related to cactus sounds, the fact there is a cactus sound sticker on his car means alot. and he's also buying a few more amps from christoff, well, that speaks volumes. james is one picky ass dude. as far as the subs are concerned, while i've not seen or heard them, if they are anything like the rest of his products, you won't be disappointed. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

everyone bitches about the plastic, but the car runs with or outperforms cars that cost twice as much. yep, you and your neighbor each own one, but that is the beauty of the car. not everyone can afford the ferrari that the z06 just smashed. but i also agree, they should indeed take some time on the interior and clean it up some. 70k is alot to spend and one should be able to expect more for their money i suppose. i'll still take the z06 over all the other supercars however, as i've got bowtie blood, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

mad props to mike from sound splinter
ahhh the man who got me to buy the rl-s. thanks again for the recomendation. lol. god i love these subs. now that i got 2 its loud at the same time super clean. i still can't believe how lowwwww these hit. you're quite welcome. the rl-s is the absolute best subwoofer i have ever had the pleasure of listening too. IMHO nothing even comes close to the output and clarity potential those drivers have. not too mention how sexy the damn thigns are. oh, and mike too! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Could i get by with one Aero port for an Rl-P 15?
i'd suggest a 6" aero as a minimum for a 15. you could possibly get away with a 4, but i think you'll be losing quality and even some output, possibly. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

you know, i don't know if there is anything left to be said about mike. he is truly the man when it comes to customer service. many kudos go out to mike for establishing and then maintaining that same level of customer service from the beginning. my original rl-p purchase was an awesome experience, one i wouldn't trade for the world. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
