Welcome to the IHoP
thought real hard about a diesel vdub. they have mileage, performance and looks. they are indeed a great choice. but not many dealers locally, if any at all. and i don't like driving 2-4 hours just to shop for a car, lol. but might have too. might end up with a better deal, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Welcome to the IHoP
i don't mind moving, i hate packing. btw, thinking of trading one of the trucks for a car. wanting gas mileage, looks and some performance. and prefer american, but it's not required. ideas? some of our thoughts... mini cooper monte carlo ss dodge nitro ( the wife really likes them) looking in the 20-30k range. figuring on trading in the silverado. it's closer to break even with trade in/ payoff. doesn't ahve to be new, something used will be ok. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Welcome to the IHoP
there are times i think i need to just be solo. forget the world, the internet and everyone in it. like i'm not meant to go it with anyone, i'm not meant for people. you know? no matter how good i have it, i can fuck it up. yet, if i'm by myself, there is nothing to fuck up, correct? i can't hurt anyone if there isn't anyone around. aarrgghhh..there i go feeling sorry for me again, lol good news, i took care of the second and third parts of the issue today. maybe, jsut maybe this will lead me down the correct road for once. i just need to learn to be strong enough to stay on that path. i know it's the right one, i cna feel it in my heart, but jesus! well, i guess if it's easy, it isn't worth it. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Welcome to the IHoP
is it just me, or do i sound like i'm feeling sorry for myself in that last post? if i do, i apologize. i'm not feeling sorry for me, nor am i asking anyone to either. i've just got to vent a bit, and hopefully writing this shit down will help me get shit sorted out in my head. this place, and those in it, are about the only friends i have to confide in that won't try and turn it around or blast it to everybody else. though it's not like this is private either, lol.... man, i'm an idiot. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Welcome to the IHoP
good morning... man, my life just took another fucking flip. and it's my fault. i can't believe how stupid i can be at times, really. seems like all i'm about is throwing my life in the dumpster. one fuck up after another. jesus. good news is, it can be fixed. better news is, the first step is already taken, and the second step (the biggest part) happens today. i've got to get myself commited to those around me who are actually in it for me and with me, and not jsut for the ride. maybe things will completely turn around then. anyway, hope all is well with everybody else. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Smallest amount of air space for the 18" sealed.
The 2500d has the following specs as far as I can tell: 1 X 1200 @ 4 Ohm 1 X 1700 @ 2 Ohm 1 X 2500 @ 1 Ohm Not sure where you got the 600w @ 2ohm spec from. earth is probably making the assumption that this is a new orion 2500d, one that is rated at PEAK power. sometime in the last year or so, orion has changed over to peak ratings, the new "2500d" is the 5000d. so that would make the new 2500d a 1250wrms amp, or 600x1@2ohm. and ox is correct. the older 2500d can indeed run at .5 all day long. mine certainly did, and that's with a factory electrical system! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Welcome to the IHoP
guess i should drop in and say hello. been a few days since i last posted. sitting at work, waiting for the rush to come in, lol. like that is going to happen. who wants to invest in a shop? really thinking about opening my own, but i don't think my credit is strong enough to do it on my own. really hate working for a place where i have to worry about paychecks not clearing. all the guys here said they'll go with me, so finding employees isn't an issue. and a customer base? lol, all i have to do is tell them i'm opening my own, and this place won't have any customers. yay for me. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

RL-p12 D2 Enclosure question
when i first insatalled my rl-p, it was in the 1.25 box with a 750wrms going to it. and according to the voltmeter, the hifonics amp will do just over 850 full tilt, but it's clipped like a mofo. gain set just over halfway, barely clipping on music (measured with an oscope) and the voltmeter shows jsut over 450wrms. i had the gain over that, just i'd guess in the 500-600 range. and it performed beautiful. it loves ported though, lol. the rl-p will flat out get down in a ported box. and i'd go with denim's recommendation...1.5@34. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Sound splinter RLi-10 true power handling
i've hit my rl-i8 with 1700wrms. it surely didn't like it though, lol. 900 per sub is probably a bit much, but liek mentioned above, if your easy on the gains, i'm sure they'll live. personally, i'd stay in the under 750 range with them. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
