  1. damn canadians....lol what do we have left, oh yeah, 3 american teams, one canadian for the cup? yeah, the sens are up one..lol..... where's this search at? i want to read a post in which aaron gets called an idiot, lol. favorite traits in a woman? worst? and not just the good son answers either, we want the dirty. favorite band(s)/song(s)? running outa questions here..... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  2. 1..life is far too short to be taken seriously 2..your kids are the greatest gifts that will ever be given to you 3..never, ever hold in your anger. let it go. it will serve no purpose on the inside, but will make you feel better when gone. 4..respect. it can never be taken or just given. for it to be real, it must be earned. 5..never stop learning. once you think you know it all, you start to fail. 6..failure. don't be afraid of it. learn from it and it isn't failure. 7..you only get one body. take care of it. and my favorite quote of all time (i'll probably butcher it) "Life's goal isn't to walk into heaven in a perfectly preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways at full speed, screaming and yelling, 'HOLY SHIT!! WHAT A RIDE!!!' " wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  3. will do. and our search function sucks, lol. i made sure to try that first as i was pretty sure nick had indeed posted those specs before. but sure enough, not a damn thing came up. thanks sir! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  4. 1000wrms vs 700? kinda unfair. h2h, i'd still give the output edge to the L7 if it's in any kind of good ported enclosure. those things are flat out hard to beat. you have to remember, the L7 will have a cone advantage to help equal out the power advantage you have. to be perfectly honest, there is absolutely no way to tell if you'll get him or vice versa. from my experience though, i'd have to put the money on the L7. if you get him, it'll be the install and power advantage that got him. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  5. replied to your pm. the pr series is an excellent, better then most, entry level amp from a relative mainstreme company. it's ugly as all hell now with it's new heatsink, but it'll do rated power and be fairly efficient at it. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  6. what size fuse(s) are in there? are they good? not just good as in they are intact, but good as in they are allowing the curent to flow with little to no resistance. bad fuses will also increase resistance and heat buildup. especially if your drawing more current they are designed to allow, yet won't pop. i've got a memphis distro block sitting here in front of me melted due to too small of a fuse (80amp AGU) going to too large of an amp (memphis 1500d). fuse never blew, but it sure melted itself to the plastic housing. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eee
  7. favorite drink? if beer/wine...home brewer? ever want to be? outside car audio/HT, what is your next favorite hobby? biggest collection, not audio related? fondest audio memory? biggest audio nightmare? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  8. food for T.O.P. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  9. i have a southwest chicken border bowl on the way!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  10. work is dead and i'm bored. i need a new job. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  11. the amp is a good amp, kinda ugly now, but built well nonetheless. will give you rated power and be fairly efficient about it. the sub, well, nothing i can say that hasn't already been said. stock speakers suck. i'm assuming your staying with the stoch headunit as well? i'd add good coaxils at the very least, and if possible a good component set up front. possibly add a rf360, jl cleansweep or something along those lines to help. if your worried about the sub/amp combo overpowering the factory stuff, run the sub in a sealed enclosure. flatter response for better blending and not as much output as a ported affair. though it should still provide plenty of output. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  12. luke...yeah, the calculator is using net volume.. you'll want to build a 5.9ft^3 INTERNAL gross enclosure. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  13. i need to know the mounting depth of both, as well as mounting diameter and overall outside diameter. i looked at the SI website and can't find it. i've also used our search feature to no avail. thanks ahead of time. oh, and sub displacement would be nice too. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  14. no problem... yeah, i've thought about a tune, the MAF and i really like the idea of electric fans. especially since 05's through 07 classics have them. but then again, it does what i need it to do. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  15. HBD justin! what denim said too...lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  16. i live where it gets humid and hot, not as bad as some places, but bad enough. to be honest, i just answered the question, never thought it through one bit. figured the tar would stick like any liquid dampener and add mass, again, like any liquid dampener. i'm just glad you smart folks come along and actually think things through..lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  17. thanks for that info helo. i did the neg post to engine simply due to ease of install. i surely never gave a thought to the potential resistance of the body. i don't think i would have ever given that a thought, lol. jazz..mods to the truck include (did, it fell off due to a rather large and deep mudhole) catback exhaust (was a v-force muffler. dyno'd better then flowmaster, same technology), cold air intake with k&n filter and throttle body spacer. i also have a leveling kit, about 2" total lift, up front and 285/75r16 tires. could've went bigger, but was on a budget. also, the leveling kit is nothing more then f150 torsion bar keys. stereo mods are the big three, yellow top optima, 1/0 thru-out, clarion dxz955mc source unit, memphis 6.5 sq componets up front, mclass 4x6 rears, powered by a memphis belle amplifier. sub stage has included, single memphis pr10 ported off a pr500d, a pair of memphis hpo 10's ported off a mc1000d, a solo x 10 off a orion 2500d, a 12 memphis mojo off the same orion, a solo x 18 off the orion and then a ma audio hk4000d and lastly, i went with three different four 10" sealed setups...pr 10, mclass 10 and kicker cvt 10, all off the sub channel of the big belle. currently no sub stage in the truck. that should just about cover it, lol... not counting the deadening on the doors, back wall and roof. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeee
  18. that's why we are here, lol. anymore issues, just holler. our trucks are identical, ain't much i haven't tried in mine. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  19. mommy bought, sunshine audio installed... blau cassette deck, the removable kind, lol yamaha 6.5's in my doors. powered by a yamaha amp. kicker comps, 2 tens, 2 twelves in a custom, sorta blow through, powered by a kicker amp. the sorta blow through was a 1/4 campershell, with a box built underneath it. the subs fired up and through the beer window. 86 k10 shortbed. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  20. never replace, just add. so you did it right. for the third part, just run a wire from your neg terminal to your alternator bracket. bolt closest to the battery. works just fine. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  21. memphis rcas are the worst. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  22. Yeah. Can you say super sticky oily puddle? I fixed your reply lol, you know, i never gave a thought to it running off in the heat. never even gave it a thought, my bad. i wouldn't use it either. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  23. shoot it!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  24. i have potential jury duty coming up. i've been pulled for not one, but two seperate cases. one in a week, another in 22 days. but at least parking is free, lol. i had someone offer to buy my mustang yesterday, lol should've tossed them a high number..... congrats on the camaro tom! i guess i need to turn signatures back on for a bit, check out jordan's new banner. steve or aaron, ever heard of this...i was doing leg presses, not much weight, jsut over 500pds, when i was bringing the weight down, my knee hit my lower rib cage and i heard a pop. no major pain, but it's tight and hurts when i stretch. it also hurts and makes it hard to breathe when i lay on that side (my left). and what exactly are straight leg deadlifts good for, other then tightening up my lower back to the point i can't lift for a bit? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  25. have a good one adrian... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
