It's done! lol Second 45* glued and siliconed. Subs Gf doing work.

Second one in and drying.

One in and dry, one to go. Second ready to go in.

Got a lil done today. 45*s cut. One in, gonna let it dry over night before doing the other side. Gonna put the other in tomorrow and let it dry till tomorrow evening. Then i should finish it up tomorrow night or Wednesday.

Not too much progress today, a couple friends were heading back to college. One 2 hours north and one 2 hours south of me. Terminal. I don't really like using these, but there was one in the box that the subs used to be in. I figured I'd use it since it's a low power build, and my gf liked the idea of having it like that. Silicone.

Took a lil bit of a break from buffing the boat to sand a lil, and take a couple pics. Test fit, nice and snug.

This is a build for 2 little MTX 10"s that were in my attic in a pre-fab sealed box, using scrap wood from previous builds. They'll be in my car until i start my 4 DP21 build, then they're going in my gf's car. On to the pics: All wood cut Piecing together

That box will be fine as long as it is well built, the amp will do until you get something else just make sure your sending your sub clean signals and not clipped ones. Just my .02 and good luck with install and dont forget to post pictures. Pictures on SSA = Haha and the pack of dancing bananas lol. Are you upgrading the amp anytime soon. If not you could build the box a lil bigger and get more outa it, if you have the room.

This...Most people I know run the Sundowns at .5 daily. But they DO have the electrical to back it, that's the big thing to consider. But it looks like you do, so watch your gains and go for it. Also you may want to look into getting an indash volt meter to keep an eye on your voltage.

I never get tired of seeing those subs...And do you still have the AQ's, if so why not just run them on them untill you get the Sundowns...But you should be fine running just one at .5 for now.

Yes, much much much better. The box now is over 2 cubes seales for 2 10"s (more like 2.7) lol. Its like 4 times too big lol, damn pre-fabs. It gets the job done for what it's being used for now though.

Ok, I'm starting my new build pretty soon, probably when the next cold front comes through. But since I took everything out to measure, I needed some low end filler while I'm getting ready to start building, and until im finished...Best temp system ever. lol Tried facing them back in the back, but they kept sliding off of the little ledge and scaring the shit outa me when I would brake. What a mess. This whole setup aside form the box will be going in my gf's car around when I start my build. We're gonna use the leftover wood from my build to build a 4th order for her. She just wants a little bass till we can get some more money for some better equipment for her. It should be a fun little build though.

This is why I don't plan on doing this. ...Plus I like the look of a vynil covered wall better anyway.
