Box For 18" Fi Q
Here's a sketch up of it. I didn't put any measurements on it because I already have them on paper and I'm feeling lazy today.

Box For 18" Fi Q
This is a box me and a friend are building for his Exterra. It is an 18" Fi Q powered by an SAE-1200. It will be about 7.5 cubes after displacements tuned to 30hz. Some pics of the gear. I like this one. Next to one of my DP's

Four DP 21s
This is what I'm doing. My two others just came in a couple weeks ago. Clam wall in the Expedition.

Help with my electrical
I'd do a Deka 9a31 in the back as well.

Wall Layout
make it four 21's port it horozontally in between the subs... no competition...ever... Pretty much exactly what I'm doing...Clam with two subs on top, two on bottom, with the port in the middle.

If we made an SAZ-4500D...
I want a couple, hopefully I'll have the money by then.

Wow, it's been a while since I've seen this thread. I'm actually not doing any of the above anymore. I just got 2 more DP21"s today, and am doing a clam wall. Thats gonna be insane man. Make a build thread Dont make me order 2 more xcons Ya, I can't wait to see the results. And there will be a build thread probably in a month or so.

is it safe to run 3500d @0.25 ohms
It wouldn't be a good to go any lower then 0.5 daily.

Brushing resin on inside of box
I just use the stuff at Home Depot. As to how many coats, I just use one, but pour it on pretty thick and give it plenty of time to dry. And I resin before drilling any holes, as long as you go slow if coming from the outside you should be fine.

FI or RE?
The BTL would compare more to the MT.

Wall Layout
This is what I'm leaning towards atm. I just have to figure out how I'm going to get enough port area.

Wall Layout
These are the two layouts I'm down to. Ignore the measurements, they're just there and don't mean much yet. And sorry about the drawings, I was bored in class a couple days ago. And I don't claim to be an artist haha. Subs low, port above subs. Subs passenger side, port driver side. Just in case someone wanted a visual.

How to wire your Sundown amp.
Two dual 2 ohm subs would equal either 5. ohms or 2 ohms. Add another set of dual 2 ohm subs would equal 1 ohm or 4 ohms. That's what I thought. I just figured I'd get a definate answer from someone more experienced than I am. Thanks.

How to wire your Sundown amp.
This may seem like a noobish question, but... If I have 2 D2 subs wired together for a final load of 2 ohms at the amp with one positive and one negetive terminal used on the amps, and I have another 2 D2 subs wired together for a final load of 2 ohms at the amp with the other positive and negetive terminals used, would the ohm load on the amps still be 2, and would I still get the full 6,000 watts? (SAZ-3000d's strapped).

Whose farts have more knowledge about sound than you do. The first step to "being loud" is not to build a wall. Im very sure we can bring a few walled cars over and toss them on the meter vs your non walled cars. Funny. A novice with a wall versus anyone with experience and an enclosure will get smoked. Which one is easier to redo when you realize the tuning isn't right or that the sub is choked? First enclosures in any vehicle are never right and you are inferring that you are recommending to a noob that it will be louder if he walls it. Terrible recommendation in my book and I am sure you cannot prove differently. I've done a few walls in the past, and probably twice as many non wall enclosures. I wouldn't say I'm a complete noob, but by no means an expert either.

Well, my real daily vehicle is my bike. It gets something like 50 miles per gallon, and it's more fun than a car. I just drive the Expedition ocasionally, or if it's raining.

Why would you suggest not doing a wall? No benefit of doing it. Why would you decide it is logical? Hopefully get a little louder, and feel it more. Plus I wouldn't be called upon to carpool people around as much haha.

Wall Layout
I'm starting a new build for my two DP 21"s in my Expedition, and I'm looking for some ideas. My ideas are in the above poll. Right now I have a subs up, port back setup. Current box is 20 cubes with 300 sq. inches of port at 32Hz. I'm looking at about the same volume and tuning for my wall as well. Possibly tuned a little lower, I loves my lows. The wall will be to the b-pillars. I'm basically looking to get as loud as possible on music, but this is for daily, so it's not going to be a burp monster. All votes, comments, and suggestions are appreciated.

Quad Stacked Magnet
But they also made a dual basket sub as well, so that should show what influences their designs sometimes. Duel basket? What would be the advantage to that?

Box Build For An SS RL-P 15"
Pretty damn loud. There's two, the train horn, and there is a screacher, it's funny as hell.
