Box Build For An SS RL-P 15"
It's just over 85 sq inches. And it looks cleaner like this imo, it didn't need any more port I don't think. Train horns. Train horns. That is great. How many gallons is the air tank? 5 gallons iirc.

It's actually a box now. Fitting. Gotta clean this up a little still. Probably some cosmetic work tomorrow.

Box Build For An SS RL-P 15"
So this is what we got done on the box today. A lot of time was taken trying to figure out why his radio resets once he hits 15mph. On the old box. Was an idea for a second.

Ya, I can't wait to see how it comes out. How do you like yours? I have never really heard an RL-p, just his for maybe 7 seconds.

Box Build For An SS RL-P 15"
This is a build for my friend Ehsan. We're replacing his current seald box, with a ported one. The new setup will be a 5 cube enclosure, sub up port back, tuned to 32Hz. Equipment will be a SoundSplinter RL-P 15" powered by a Powerbass 1000.1d, all in a Nissan Xterra. Current setup. Supplies. Getting started. Closer to being done. Thats it for today, more to come tomorrow evening.

Screwless Box
I think you'd be fine without screws. If it were me, I would still use them lightly to hold while the glue sets up. I don't have many clamps though, so that's just me. Why not just place a screw every foot or so and countersink it. The bedliner should fill in the countersink over the screw.

Help Me Choose
This is also a possibility.

Help Me Choose
That's another one of the options I was considering at one point, along with APXX's and a couple others. But these are my three top picks.

Help Me Choose
Would be a hell of a wow factor. Even with just two I get a lot of "holy ****"s haha. But I have heard from a few people that the LVL 5's or the BTL's may be a better bet for output.

Help Me Choose
I'm starting to plan out my next setup and am a little stuck on what to choose. To start off, which ever I choose will be walled at the B-pillars of my 03 Ford Expedition XLT. I will most likely tune to between 30Hz and 32Hz. I have 2 SAZ-3000's at the moment, but will pick some more up down the road. So I'm looking for your opinions on which subs to go with. 4 Incriminator DP 21"s 4 DC LVL 5 18"s 4 Fi BTL 18"s I am looking to get really loud and pound out the lows. I'm not too worried about sq as I don't drive too much, just be half way musical, NOT something strictly for burps. I know it's all good equipment, just looking for some opinions. Thanks

Deff, I hope people aren't dumb this time. What had happened before?

Alternator output
Ya, if it were me I would definately do another battery in the back. I don't think he really cares if he gets another one, he was just trying to avoid that route.

Alternator output
If another batt is needed, he'll probably get the SPV70.

Alternator output
My friend has an 07 GTI and is thinking of running an AQ 2200D to two Fi Q's. My question is, will this amp be happy powered by the stock alt (120 amp). He doesn't really want to run an extra battery unless absolutely necessary. All suggestions and advice is appreciated.

2 DP21"s, Almost Done
Ok, finally took a few vids. Just a warning though, I haven't slept since friday night, and I was hopped up on 3 Monsters when I took these vids. So hands were a little shaky to say the least haha. I'm going to take some better ones later, but maybe these will hold some of you over until I do. Still not actually pushing them too hard, just letting them get a good break in. http://tinypic.com/usermedia.php?uo=ZzkXzf...EIrDX%2BQ%3D%3D After doing the Second Skin, I have hardly any roof flex, especially compared to how it was before. http://tinypic.com/usermedia.php?uo=ZzkXzf...SbJyk6E3w%3D%3D This prooves that lack of sleep, plus a ton of caffeine after not having any for over a year, equals motion sickness lol.

2 DP21"s, Almost Done
That's what I started thinking. The box is to 32Hz. I think I just had the subsonic set a little low. What was it at? WAAAAAY too low, like all the way over. I wasn't really paying attention to the little stuff yesterday. I was in a bit of a rust to get it done. I just went back and corrected most everything, including the rca's. At least i can take a lesson out of all this. Don't get into a hurry no matter how bad you want to go out and eat for free lol.

No kidding, never heard anything like it before. I'm going to keep a close eye on it. Maybe have a thorough look through my whole car.

No, it was playing for a couple minutes at about a quarter to a thurd volume and started poppling a little. I don't think the amps were in protect. Check the HU, all the wires, output voltage, everything. It's all fine. I played it for a minute or two just now and no popping. Maybe it was just a bobble or something. If it happens again I'm going to take the wires out of the speaker terminals, maybe I pushed them too far through and they're touching something.
