  2. ok what is the diff. between last year's L7 and this year. i heard that they are louder by like .4 or .5 is this true? r they more durable
  3. does it get hot at all? what size wire r you using? Have you checked your RCA's at the amp and behind the deck? those r only a couple of things i can think of at 3am lol
  4. yeah they just always blew though, i dont know why i had the biggest prob. w/ my 4 D300's. now i have my 2 rockford bd 1500's working for 4
  5. im pretty sure its not a power issue. i use to run my system in my CRX w/ i think its a 60 amp alt. i think maybe a little smaller or bigger but not by much and a SVR8012 and 2 mod. Mmats D300's and never had a prob.
  6. Well thought of the day is: dont hold your farts in because they travel up your spine and into your brain and thats where chitty idea's come from. just thought I would share.
  7. well that is true they r a fun team to watch. and ill say this they have a beautiful park, thats were i saw my first and only pro game 0's vs. yankees
  8. well i hope it gets loud for you. lookin good, cant wait to see your numbers
  9. for my encloser in my truck we used t-shirt and then we put the resin on then we put a layer of fiberglass hair's and matting. like helotaxi said t-shirt is just so much easier to streetch and work w/ then strengthen later.
  10. i have 2 rockford bd 1500's running both at 1 ohm, they will run at that. dont know how well they do that for daily driving ? but hell give it a shot. dont be scared
  11. many what happend to the O's man looked like the yankee's man handled them lol thats too bad he he he he he GO YANKS
  12. yeah when i do fiberglass work, use just a t-shirt and streech that.
  13. lol thats always good
  14. i thought the batteries were the cheap part lol. 2 of my battery's = 1 sub lol
  15. rust bucket on wheels? i dont remeber being at that show lol
  16. new pic. are posted on my sounddomain page. www.sounddomain.com/id/earcandycrx
  17. have 2 of them
  18. well i competed today w/ my new amps. 2 rockford bd 1500's on my 2 kicker L7's in a new CRX and just thrown, finished at 3:30am we did a 147.7 on the new termlab. good thing is we didnt blow an amp so now we can progress instead of blowing an amp everyshow. now to play and get loud :boink:
  19. u dont think you would be louder using a 15 " L7 ?
  20. def. thats the cheapest thing to do. but if u r lazy lol just get the ground loop, but then again that might not even work. best bet is just to move them
  21. well if u mod. them u basically take the stabbility away from the amp. dont get me wrong they put out a ton of power, but they are also more sensitive to blowing over little things.
  22. yeah i frame mine w/ mdf and then i streach like a old t-shirt over it or something like that.
  23. move them as far away from each other as u can. u can also buy a ground loop isolator and that should take care of it too. or buy an expensive set of RCA's. only things i know of
  24. they are mod. already they are shaker's old amps.
  25. yeah that was w/out tuning or testing the box before the show and then i blew an amp. So i just sold all my Mmats and im getting 2 rockford bd 1500's and putting one to each sub. i hope i get louder, b/c i have a meter now to do some tuning and a new CRX. still got the other one sitting around waiting for a B18 and tranny swap to go in
