  1. 6th orders have to be dead on balls accurate for them to ever sound good. If You mess it up at all it will likely sound like shit. You should start with some reading on the 6th order design theory before attempting. No reason to waste a bunch of money just to "try something" or "move more air" etc.
  2. Post away... Forgot to ask my friend I'll ask tomorrow
  3. I would just get some battery corrosion cleaner from Walmart and clean it up
  4. From the brief look it looks like a 4th order bandpass.
  5. They definetly make it look easy. lol. My dash pods are box carpet (felt) with no mat. The fleece works good too. With just resin its already an 1/8" thick. I'm sure the thick fleece adds thickness, but it's still just resin, mat is where the strength comes from. I guess if it's something small then it could work, but I don't see any good reason for skipping the mat, other then it sucks getting on your arms. Rebuilding my kicks in a few weeks, going to make them a little differently, hopefully they'll look better, be stronger, and sound better. I myself am not a huge fan of kicks. I like my foot space, I'm thinking of doing some new simple door pods... What will remove armor all? I can never get it off to allow me to stick tape to anything. Alcohol, denatured alcohol, lacquer thinner, acetone, etc. . . Be very careful with the stronger solvents as they can melt plastic. I tried denatured alcohol last time when I made my kicks and it wouldn't come off or stick. Hmmm. They're probably ABS then. Not much of anything is going to stick to it. I actually had to use spray adhesive once and remove it with solvent later. You're actually right I do believe it's ABS, I had thought about using a light spray able adhesive
  6. Sean, Adrian, or Brad would you guys be interested in identifying some parts in the suckmydick dd-1 internals? I have a friend who is willing to let me take his apart!

Sent both Mark and Sales and have received nothing back... I would really like to recone my sub asap!
  12. Agreed. I'm loving this. I worked outside in a tshirt in January and I despise cold! Wichita was pretty nice despite the wind It wasn't bad at all.
  13. Loading up all of my shit I'm taking to college.. I don't want to start school lool.
  14. And if your seats don't fold down.... I'm sure they can be taken out some how. Much easier said than done man. Most it's just a metal clip that holds the seat in, in numerous cars that I've worked on that's been the case.
  15. I have a alpine 4 channel for 70+ half shipping 50x4 @ 4Ohm
  16. What did you do at Wichita falls!?
  17. I'll be there with the gf, we can get toasty and rep ssa!
  18. You can add a variable resistor on one of the sensing leads of the alt to raise the voltage. Not all work like that however,
  19. Sorry dde that you live there. I was stationed there for 6 months and hated every day of my life. Lol I would just save up and monitor your voltage until you're ready to make the big purchase. You may not need one depending on your listening hAbits
  20. Wichita Falls, Tx? I am so sorry you live there.. You will have hard voltage drop, I would run the alts in tandem seeing how you can't afford a new one. I would save up for a new alt.
  21. I'll be at SBN but mustang may not be there.
  22. Online, www.remybattery.com My local CARQUEST didn't have the NGT's stocked some do although.
  23. Are you talking about the batts RAM is selling? I don't know much about battery's, would you mind explaining what specs to look at or direct me to a good source to read about it? I'm pretty new to the big power setups and plan on upgrading my electrical soon. Thanks, Rick I've always looked at it this way, AH is X amount of amps over X hours which isn't really relevant for us in car audio unless you sit there and listen to music for hours. CCA is the numbers of amperes a lead-acid battery at 32 degrees F (0 degrees C) can deliver for 30 seconds and maintain at least 1.2 volts per cell (7.2 volts for a 12 volt battery). Which in car audio you see the most.. long bass drop in tern the amp draws large amounts of current. Personally I believe CCA is much more relevant to us car audio enthusiasts rather than AH which is more for trolling, etc. NGT Extreme batteries are sold locally at CARQUEST auto stores which some places have them and they run about 250 from the store, they are the same batteries as the Deka Intimidator Group 31 batteries which you can get shipped from Remy for around $200.
  24. wall with 2 18's port to the drivers side, in the 2011 mustang there is a 190 amp alt and i run two of the d3100s on 5k and my voltage is awesome.
