  1. I hate getting the flu shot it makes my body so sore the next day.
  2. I literally just said "Oh my god".
  3. Yep it was an RCA issue.. but not producing on their bench even if it didnt have a load on it, it still went int protect. They can't find any problems with it, so they're shipping it back for free! Good customer service from DD, I'd buy another amp.. a subwoofer...not so much.
  4. No the people of SSA believe Kevin is crap, he is not. HE was not a dealer he was undercutting SSA which is bad. Ohh, so hes not an actual dealer then? Makes sense, he offered me 295 shipped for two VVX12s. I looked at the FI Xs and they dont look like they would be on the same level of the other ones. On Fis site they claim they are their entry level subs. Exactly the issue. Extremely shady, extremely bad for the industry. This is identical routine that happened with a few other brands in the past including one of the worst all time RD, who we were smart enough not to be connected with them. I hope Kevin is not repeating that model. Not saying this is what Kevin is doing; But the issue in the past has been that there are so many of these brands that show up. They start off with a really bad track record, try to run from it and pretend nothing is wrong. Quickly followed by a sea of kiddies that call them selves reps running around the net pushing the crap out of a product with the same bullshit approach of the production is the one-size-fits all answer to EVERY install and every need regardless if it is even remotely close to what the customer wants or needs. It is the same show, just different actors. Aaron just summed EVERYTHING up, perfectly. In the last few weeks I've seen numerous people calling themselves skar reps (thinking their hot shit or something) pushing skar products for every application known to man. You could ask them if its good for a quasi-eighth order bandpass and they would say "Yes sir!" It's really sad to see people that clearly don't know what their talking about trying to sell something, it's pure fail, and it's an insult to other manufacturers that strive to make a good a product with good customer service. It's not like it doesn't happen with every other brand, how many threads have you seen involving a Fi Q and a t-line? way to god damn many.
  5. They haven't made a chromed out car since the early sixties. Nah all of this aftermarket crap.
  6. (Personally) I don't understand the purpose of 8's in the car audio world (In most cases/uses) a 10 would fit in the same amount of space, a DCON 10 or an SSD/Q would be great.
  7. Amp sent in, works on their bench.. what the fuck

All are good options, seriously as said before flip a coin and you won't be set wrong.

  10. Man i hate chrome so much, these chromed out cars are gross.
  11. Yeah I don't think I could do 5 a foot, when welding cable and Knu are both cheaper. But it's pretty, i guess that sells more than anything.
  12. I have yet to have a bad experience with Kevin. I have the utmost confidence in him, I am not nutthugging what-so-ever, every single transaction I have had with him went smoothly and he responded in a timely matter. The Skar VVX-12 is a very nice woofer at a very good price, it may be made in China but many other woofers are too. I love SSA, but it's sad to see when one experienced person hate on it all of the newer guys start hating on it without knowing the full story, regardless if it's true or not. Anyways /rant.
  13. 5$ a foot for pure copper is pretty outrageous IMO when Welding cable is the same and cheaper.
  14. probably super expensive.
  15. TLRM Aka Too long read most.. haah crazy man
  16. Evidently they cannot reproduce the problem on their test bench, I plugged my RCA's into my 125.2 (on low volume) and my M3a didn't go into protect, nothing what-so-ever.. Any ideas?
  17. Shows design and ingenuity. It's the same concept that's been used in steering wheels for 60+ years. Well yeah, but you know what i mean! lol

  20. whats your settings at?
  21. Why does that matter? if it sounds good in the car then you're good. You chose a 10 sealed it's not going to get super loud.
  22. shouldn't be, unless it's severe.
  23. nothing wrong... but personally i'd just run it all together...
