Fi Sub options?
Two Bl's on 1,000 watts each will sound nicely. I would get the cooling option on both, dual 1's so you can wire down to 1 ohm. or two SSD's on a 1500 watt amp would be nice too. Budget? what amplifiers, electrical upgrades, Music Preferences, etc? These will help us a lot.

FI Q Heat Ring Option
Third topic on a similar subject. Lower inductance = good, so get it.

That is very true. For batteries, i would look into XS D3100, or a Deka Intemidatior 9a31. As for wire, i would go with Knukonceptz CCA 1/0 wire for big 3 + amp, fuse blocks from them, alternator from DC Power Engineering inc. I'm 19 and live at home too, no prob

it really depends.. if it's taken care of no not really. But if it's abused more than likely, I'm not sure if Sundown's warranties are transferable, you may want to ask Jacob. Another option is to buy refurbished from dB-r.com That's where i bought my Saz-3000d no complaints really great prices and customer service.

What Should I do with it...
4th order bandpass or a ported enclosure? i would do a ported enclosure subs up port back. Maybe even a wall if you have room

Sundown is great, you could run (2) Saz-1500d's strapped; BUT it would be more expensive than a single kicker 2500. Typically I'm a big pusher for Sundown Audio, but the kicker is probably your best bet.

FI Q Cooling option and I heat ring option
If ur gonna bitch about it than don't fuckin read it. Excuse me? I'll agree with Jon once again, I gave you part of what you were looking for, there is no need to post MULTIPLE threads to the same answer, they will be answered, unless you're going to be rude and a little shit about it.

exactly what amp will you be using to power these? Like i said the Kicker 2500 would probably be best, i don't know many companies that do 2500 watts at 2 ohms, besides large® amplifiers.

FI Q Cooling option and I heat ring option
agreed, i already answered half of the question, go back and read it.
-
FI Q Cooling option
Cooling does what it says, it cools the coil much more efficiently because there are vents machined into the motor

Wire your subwoofers exactly like so, kicker 2500 would be good so you can put out 2500 WRMS so giving them great power at 2 ohms, plus kicker amps are great.

For new compeitors! TEST & TUNE!
I had one just charge me $80 for an hour! Screw that, i'm buying a meter now lol. No joke! I had a shop not charge me, nice Mom n' Pop shop, hard to find these days. Any other things you guys offer? Print outs of scores, peak frequency, etc?

going from a true trunk.. to a SUV
Take some time to get used to it, when i changed my setup a little bit it wasn't the same, but as soon as i was accustomed to it i loved it. Also port placement, sub arrangement, etc will have an effect. Try a new box, Subs up port back like a CRX box, i think that would be the best bet for a SUV.

Not too bad of deals, you should try hourly also. Most shops charge 20-50+ dollars for a single session.

Sub/Port firing option? which would be louder?
Up front as in by the windshield? kick? my head? lol I'd like to give it a shot, but I'm trying to do as much planning as I can since 3/4 MDF is 30 bucks a freaking sheet! I remember when I started building (about 4 years ago) 3/4 was like $22.. now the 1/2 is $22.. Price of fuel has gone up, lumber is very heavy thus expensive to ship.

Sub/Port firing option? which would be louder?
It's all completely car dependent. Unless you know someone with the same vehicle and has tried multiple locations, we can't tell you for sure.

Has anyone ever seen a port like this?
Mtx makes their preloaded enclosures using ports like this. A port is a port as long as it has enough port Area and tuning frequency typically doesn't mAtter if it's square, triangle, flared etc. As long As you have those two you're okay. But I think it's just a thing with Mtx besides them I know of no one else who does their ports like that. Nor do I know how to calcualte it

Awesome sub, weird box
Has anyone ever seen a triangular port with a rectangular opening??? WTF!?!?!? MTX does ports like that on their preloaded enclosures.
