  1. I wouldn't worry too much, in comparison most car audio gear sent to normal stores has something like a 50% DOA. I know the guys at DB-r will get this sorted out for you, something similar happened to me with my Saz-3000d (it was someone at DB-r's fault, they soldered the power leads too long and it burnt up) but i packaged it badly and the RCA's were smashed and destroyed completely, DB-r fixed it free of charges for my hassle. Don't worry too much i don't think I've heard of a problem Jacob wasn't on in a matter of days trying to best please the customer.
  2. what vehicle do you have?
  3. "SQL" is not a term, Sound Quality and SPL are two different things. Generally, the Q will play lower than the BL, The Q can be sealed. The BL will be louder than the Q, but it is all install Dependant. The Bl is the little brother of the BTL, I owned a 15" Bl and it got loud, low, and sounded great. It sounds like you're more inclined towards the Bl, I would suggest this.
  4. Thats a typical rule of thumb.
  5. Look on their site it says how Much a recone it's around 100 dollars
  6. i see it now thought it was going to be like the A-Team flatcone
  7. Predrilling will help with splitting, i recommended predrilling Every hole you're going to drill.
  8. More info on the flatcone monster? please?
  9. Xcon's and D3400's included screenshot This is a weight issue, the total weight is over UPS allowed limit for one package, haven't figured out how to get around this yet, all you have to do is make seperate orders for something like this. For now... ah i see. does the system assume it will be one huge package?
  10. Screws are your best bet.. if i remember drywall screws are the best.
  11. it's all dependent on your alternator, battery, and engine ground locations, what you do is get a piece of string and measure from where you would put your wires for the big 3 from point to point, add all the lengths up.
  12. Xcon's and D3400's included screenshot
  13. Most subwoofer terminals only accept 1 run of 8 gauge so typically you have to either trim it down or use smaller wire
  14. Stetsom amplifiers are a very good choice also.
  15. from a cone area standpoint the four 15's would be the loudest. but its all install dependent
  16. I havnt checked yet, but for me I couldn't calculate shipping charges in the cart
  17. I would suggest using all thread for bracing, it's strong and well basically a gigantic bolt. You can get them at home depot for sure. Also they take up minimal space in the box as aposed to regular bracing.
  18. As duran said, the Ns's would be your best bet.
  19. Do i see a flatcone monster!
  20. very nice. i will look into it more. thanks yea im looking for more ""SQL"" than spl The term ""SQL"" we tend to abstain from on this forum, mostly due to the part that SQ and SPL are two completely different things.
  21. You mean it is not beefy enough already? enough to handle 2.5k
  22. I say make some beefy xcons and do 10k
  23. I thought you were scaling down!
