  2. Are you looking at prebuilt or just for designs?
  3. check your voice coils with a multimeter.
  4. Great price! Wish I needed some power.
  5. I hated the people in SoCal, but EVERY single person I met in NorCal was so nice and very personable. Its just so much more laid back in NorCal.
  6. SoCal sucks although I have a very soft spot for NorCal it's somewhere I'd like to move back to.
  7. I've been looking and looking for the past 5 months or so and I've yet to find one used that's worth my time. Most people in my area want top dollar for their table saw that looks like it's been sitting at the bottom of an ocean. On my local classifieds there are mostly the smaller contractor style saws which I just don't want to mess with due to the fact I plan on tackling full 4x8 sheets. I've been doing a lot of research via forums, Reddit, and various reviews and it seems that universally the 715p is the best saw under 1k and that for the price it has one of the best fences in it's market.
  8. Yeah I plan on building with primarily birch because of the dust issues.
  9. What's your guy's opinion on Grizzly Tablesaws? I've been searching and searching to find a tablesaw for the new garage and I've finally settled on the 715P, it seems like it's the best saw at under 1k. They're relatively local (Springfiel, MO) so shipping won't take too long and is only $100. I now live in Kansas so I wont have to pay taxes which is a huge plus. If I can get 220 into the garage I'll leave it at 220 but if I can't I can always wire it for 110. What do you guys think?
  10. Time to either build or buy a nice big swamp cooler, they work great and are very cheap to run.
  11. I picked up one of the TriTrix kits from PE for my towers and added a DCON 15" in a 4Ft^3 sealed box for substage. The system is great for music but for movie watching it falls a little especially on the low end sub ~30hz, I plan on building another box and tuning in the low 20's for movies and a second plug-able port for music utilizing aeroports. Look into large low tuned (LLT) enclosures for ideas.
  12. an aeroport would be the easiest solution.
  13. You too man!
  14. Next time I come up to Minneapolis to visit my brother or stop through I'll be sure to let you know.
  15. What's funny I was going to actually message you, but I thought "what are the actual odds that he'd be in the airport". i should probably go buy a lotto ticket, ha.
  16. Haha there are still people boarding. Super small world.
  17. That's really unfortunate I always love meeting guys from the forum. While I was in NY I went up to the SSA HQ to go hangout with Mark for a bit.
  18. Damn!
  19. Atlanta is probably my most hated layover airport. post 7,666
  20. MSP is probably one of my least hated layover airports.
  21. Currently sitting in the Minneapolis airport waiting for my stop over flight in France before I head to Dubai!
  22. Listening to electronic music or rap you probably think they sound fine, play any music with "substance" you will notice a HUGE gap in frequencies.
  23. Going with a 15 would be a nice compromise between output and space IMO. Depending on which model you have (guessing its the old UFO style) 3-5 cubes would be an optimal space saver while still retaining some great output. You could even make the box removable with some quick disconnects and some PA style spring loaded handles to make it easier, or you could go with an external port to save a little more box volume and still have some usable space.
  24. Off topic but I believe he died.
  25. Good thing I'll be heading to Afghanistan next week for work... /sarcasm
