  1. cut the top of the tab and split them and then bend them back when you get them in. then solder them.. however if fi can fit them without cutting them so can you lol
  2. With those amps at .25 you have to do a slow gingerly burp with them or they protect
  3. such a shame to see a sub of that value be all rusty.
  4. I have the top avital with remote stwtt and its OK the two way key fob sucks dick it has a terrible range especially if there are things in the way of it. But overall as an alarm its great. I may make the viper switch but probably not anytime soon I only have the one shock sensor that it comes with and it is actually able to determin where the shock was located at. Avital is a good two way alarm that is cheaper than the viper.
  5. You can add a smaller pully to improve low end output on the alt, but you risk not getting enough belt wrap and just having lots of belt slip. Or you can over spin the alt completely and destroy it,
  6. I have a 300 from mom. It'll do full 300 at 1500 which is pretty average for a big alternator. You get trade offs with anything in car audio. Larger alts will produce more current but it takes power to move it. A smaller alt will have higher low end current at idle but less in the higher regions.
  7. If you have a big alt you need a big engine to turn it to get the advertised amps.
  8. Enersys makes odyssey and they OEM for sears. The diehard g31 is very similar to the 2150. I'd take the diehard over the crescendo because they're proven and I can get them locally when ever I need them
  9. Enersys is who makes Odyssey.
  10. hotter temps are better for batteries colder temps are better for amps and subs especially if you're doing a music class.
  11. is the word lol. I just use the largest screws I can find.
  12. I had mine around 5.5 cubes each and it did very well.
  13. all amps are bad, not sure why but they are. All of the amp make a loud tinny sound when the bass hits. no low end just sounds very hollow.
  14. Colder is always louder for me. typically a 2 db loss on a hot day.
  15. Viper is pretty high quality so is SunTek.
  16. Loose connection, I've seen this happen before. This was a good fuse holder by RF IIRC and a loose connection caused it to melt without the fuse even burning up.
  17. Looking for 300 shipped each on the XCONS conus most 7/10 with paint on the basket/ motor could get off with some paint thinner. subs have less than a few months of play on them 475 + shipping for the bc3500's 6.9/10 on most
  18. so im having an issue with a bc3500. I had the.remote wire come out so I put it back in and heard a loud pop.. when I turned it up there was a horrible tinny sound... Like they were out of phase or something. So I took all of the subs out 4 are reading normally 1.8 and 4 are reading 1.5/1.4 I'm really not sure what happened.. The subs free air fine but the impedance is all wrong. They should be D2 closer to 1.7/1.8 like the other 4. Any ideas?
  19. Jimmy's Eggs is a pretty good place (breakfast & Such), also Mcallisters has great sandwhiches and tasty tea. Bei Wei is a really good Chinese place if you catch them late enough they're open around ~2, oh yeah Hog Wild has some pretty good BBQ too. Why are you headed to Wichita?
