  1. sadly not for the marine version which is the one you want.
  2. The only super tweeter that I'veheard and actually liked were from Rockford. They sound good for what they are.
  3. Possibly your Pcm is limiting your voltage and not allowing you to charge higher, an ext. regulated alt might fix your problem --its did for me. You also might need a smaller pulley if possible. But you may have to get a smaller belt size
  4. what the fuck
  5. I fucking hate my upstairs neighbors. at all hours of the day sounds like they're running from a bear while doing front flips.
  6. It's not like there wasn't a reason why I was against you going with a 16v setup. But do what you like. Most of my friends who have ran 16v setups have always switched back to a 12v setup again. But just Fwiw.
  7. I've received subs from fi/ssa and 95% arrived fine. but it all depends on the shipper. I have had fedex/ups destroy packages like that. my ~75 zcon 18 came just fine with no defects on he box... but my 40lb Xcon looked like someone sat on it then threw it across the room.
  8. I paid three fifty for my bezel in my mustang so I know your pain pioneer makes some awesome flip outs
  9. IMO its really not worth it.. why have 6 batteries when 4 12v batteries will suffice? Then you have to invest in an ext regulated alt, bracket, regulator, etc etc.. Rather than a single alt + some big batteries. That would far exceed what I've spent on my 12v setup.
  10. You wil drop below 16v unless you have a huge bank, What happens when you start dropping quickly? What is more important higher voltage or more amperage? Amperage. 12v is the way to go. I've tried to explain this to you but you chose to ignore me but w/e you'll learn.
  11. Stefan, he did not mean to gut it out, just flip it. The heatsink is still there in this scenario. My amp tends to get hot too with the ongoing heat wave, so I asked a friend and he suggested I do a tunnel type of cooling in the future. At one end blowing in, at other out. Blowing directly on the insides wont be that effective as on the heatsink itself in my opinion. And if you do decide to flip it, take notice that the top disperses heat too(where all the logo and labels are placed). Maybe retracts it a bit in mid air and not screw it directly on the desired surface. Exactly I spaced it so it hung with a gap from where I had it mounted.
  12. seriously Let me guess..Mommy and daddy?
  13. Do this, Flip your amp upside down, take the back off and make a plexi cover and add some big ass fans... this helped with my Sax-125.2 it would run like a grill but stayed cool even when i was down in texas with 116+ everyday but with fans
  14. you do live in texas...
  15. where in MO are you.
  16. Sssssuussooollld
  17. Shawn you're back! <3
  18. its called trouble shooting
  19. Have you tried a higher ohm load like 2 ohms?
  20. Very true, for the price I can get them for through my friends shop they are kind of hard to pass up FWIW.
  21. Hey Sean, What do you think of the Pro Audio from Rockford? I will be running them in my doors.. an 8 and a single tweet on my boss rev665 running active off of my 880prs. I've personally listed to them and thought they sounded good but i would like to see what your thoughts on their limitations
  22. the air is not exactly dry air which is an issue... you would have to modify them so the air went through some form desiccant so it won't be blowing wet air over your equipment.
