Don't buy that junk, I can pretty much promise it's barely held together and tuned to like 45Hz. And probably 1/2" MDF. What do you need to build your own? A design?

Are the tweeters on an amp?

The electrical is completely dependent on how much power you run form your amp/amps, not on the woofer you have. I support the 2 12"s idea, would do much better then trying to squeeze that 18" into 4cubes. And get the capacitor idea out of your head now. Lol

I am almost positive that i didn't connect it to the constant, it wouldn't make sense.. i connected the wires about roughly a week ago and last night is the first time this happened, if i connected it to the constant wouldn't the amp be on alllllll the time. But i am unscrewing everything as i type, we will see. Try taking the "remote"' wire out the amp. That will answer ALL questions. What results should i get? Amp should turn off since it has no signal.....

My question is, could I run 2 mids & 2 tweets off one crossover? I wired up a 2 mids & 2 tweets to a crossover to check the ohm load at the “input” space and it was at 3.44ohm. If not then I’ll just run the tweets off radio and mids off 100.4 till I find a cheap 50.4.

Well, I finally killed my MT that has had a bad coil for months. So this weekend coming up will consist of order two new recones, one for each woofer. And fiber glassing the doors with all the speakers. I will keep my brother around to shot vids and take pictures off all the work we do, seeing as I take 2-3 at the start then forget to untill it's all done.

You'd be VERY surprised as to what can do well at a show. First place in MOD 0-1000 a few weeks ago was like a 144.x, just depends on who enters the class.

Your going to have to find your exact peak before you can street Beat well. So tomorrow, instead of competing Street Beat, do MOD 0-1000. Ask for the disk and play track 18, it should be a sweep as long as it's the official USAC disk. Then they will tell you at what Hz was the loudest. You will get a second run, on the second run go to the corresponding track on the CD to the Hz you peaked and play it. Once you find your exact peak, post it on the forum asking what good SB songs have the same peak. I am sure we can find a good one. But I know for any MOD/Stock class it's bassed off the 4ohm output of your bass amps.

If you care at all. The ride is a ext cab pick up, all 4 6.5s are in the driver/passenger doors. So, front to back fade doesn't even matter.. right? It shouldn't, as all the speakers are in front you anyway.

John Holmes, stop talking. You could probably get away with 4, I have each of mine in 5 each. From what I have been told, seen with my own eyes, and heard myself 4.5-5 cubes per MT 18" is the best for music.
