I totally forgot about JL.

It would need to do power at 8ohm...... which is REALLY high for car audio applications. Take the Sundown 3000, does 800 at 4ohm....... and probably 400 or less at 8ohm

The 8ohm amp is only going to be found in Home Audio applications. The big amp..... is like the DD Z2's, SS 10k, Kicker Warhorse, the Fosgate 15k, things like that ALL above 16Volt

You would need an amp that either....... does it's power at 8ohm.......... or a HUGE amp that still puts decent power at 8ohm.

I think that I seen that Vid... It was a good hair trick It was at Scrapin The Coast last year............ Probably got around pretty good.

I have heard 4 HCCA 15"s......... it was pretty intense..... but wasn't crazy over the top. looks beast though.

Ordered a little 1000 today.

I am wondering how Z15"s will take 1500 rms. The strapped idea is nice, also give flexibility later on if you decide to change up. But I'm not taking chances....... I have a tendency to ride around for hours at a time listening to bass...... I would hate to only be able to crank it up for a few min then they gotta take a rest.

Why do you want to tune that low if your goal is to break 150 ? The goal isn't to beak it, if it breaks it good, if not fine. It is going to a "musical" system. Make sense? I'm not aiming to get amazing SPL scores. If I was I could build a one note wonder box and burp at 50+ Hz.

I can't wait for my Z15"s...... with SAZ-1000's............. I should be able to pound on it all day without to much worry about the woofers. SAZ-3000 at 1 ohm. btw
