It is totally necessary, if the wire gets cut id would just continually short. Fuses in the amp dont stop that. anytime I have had/seen a main fuse pop, all the fuses on the amp does as well. I don't feel like explaining, go cut your amp power wire and touch it to metal and see what happens. I'd rather not...... I understand what your saying...... But if you do everything right...... or rightish..... you should have to worry about that kind of stuff.

Last I checked fusing between amp and battery isn't necessary since the amp already has fuses on the power supply......... I could be wrong though.........

Some updates......... Got my SAX-100.4 installed, got some Pioneer Premier REV 6x9"s today, took off muffler today, made my back 3 windows BLACK, 5% on my front 2, and a 10" 5% strip on front windshield.

Most are great people and if your respectful and admit to doing wrong they will let it go with a warning or smaller ticket. But OTHER times, you get the cop who just lost his wife to another man, she took his house, most his money, AND his BEER, and he is looking for someone to fuck up.
