what problems? I just picked up a pioneer 6000ub, i have yet to install it. The thing that drove me away where the HORRIBLE RCA's. When I had my iPod hooked up, the whole thing slowed down horribly.

What does the DC/DC converter do?

After getting new radios I can never justify going back to Pioneer. Other H/U just don't have the problems Pioneers have.

After an hour of hard playtime, my coils would get so hot that touching the cone would burn you. You have to realize, i drive 1000 miles a week, with at least 2x, 2 way trips of over 100 mile strecthes each way, so i am talking about extended, daily usage at 1200 watts. Most of the time by myself, so i kept the volume relatively high for hours on end with no relief Haha his subs would smoke after a full song at full tilt. lol

I must argue about the T1 not taking 1200 rms. A buddy of mine runs 6 T1 15"s on 3 RF 2000's. Putting out 2400+ all the time.

Ok, so I was just sitting here. And thought I just had heart burn like I've been randomly getting for the last few weeks. But it steadily got worse, then I felt the throw up start coming up. I ran to bath room, was in there for 6 min. Now I feel just fine.

A REAL good sub I like is the Audio Que HDC3 12" It would be $270 shipped to you. Well worth the money. IMO It is comparable to the DD 9512. http://www.audioque.com/aq/HDCSeries.htm
