you'd lose. i've yet to lose to a dodge truck with one of my chevy's, even against the vaunted "hemi". and your 5.9ltr isn't all that, my 01 ram was a dog, my 00, 04 and 08 silverados would kill it. and get better mpg doing it, lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I know most Chevy's would get it. My transmission would fall out half way down the track. lol, no truer words have you spoke, lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Either that or the pucking water pump would go out.

I'm enjoying the torque of my 5.9 =) I want more though.

My Team's idea of breaking in most subs involves RMS+ some, in a to large box. Lol Ex. 1 = Two L7 15"s on 2500 rms in 12 cubes Ex. 2 = Two IA 21"s on 3000+ rms in 16 cubes

I would do, with the 18"s, 4 cubes each with 120 SQin of port PER woofer. That's what I'm doing anyway lol

I'm having the same problem. Without the space issue. I either want 15"s or 18"s. I just can't decide for some reason. I would do 14sqin per cube, 16 gives it a "peaky" sound I think.

I like the quote I read about a ICON, applies to the BTL in a way. It's going be a little off but you will get the idea, "If you blew a ICON without blowing the cone out the basket with twice the rated RMS, then YOU did something wrong" For a BTL it would be triple the RMS.
