Well, I've been waiting for my Singer Alternator for about 2-3 weeks now. And it shows up today........ Sucks so bad! Luckily Mike Singer is sending me a new front piece this coming week. Such good C/S!

Thanks man! Way more to come! Alternator shipped today, so I'll finally take off the stock one. Then I'll be ordering A LOT of deadener soon for the floor, doors, and fire wall. Then Rhino lining the rood to hold it down better. And all that ON TOP, of the hours of work still to do on the wall. AND new batteries at some point with buss bars and dual inputs. lol

Thanks man. Yea they were a killer deal, just need two tires but well worth it. Will probably replace all 4 anyway.

So I got the subs built last Friday night, then installed Saturday morning. Installed with the Fi stickers still on. Then onto DD stickers. lol This was the first score I got out of it. This was after 10 minutes of full power burping at the wrong note. So subs were HOT and batteries were DEAD. Went back few days later with cool subs and charged batteries, gained .7 by having it all fresh. Then at the show, had them all fresh, A/C going full blast to cool the cabin and got this! Still LOTS more to come! After demo'ing all day at Scrapin', the batteries were low to say the least. Since my Singer alternator didn't make it in time. This picture is after driving for 20 minutes with everything off. While demo'ing and such, I broke part of the emblem off the driver door. lol Then today, 2/24/2012, I got these Enkei SR6 18"s for the PT for $100. I was just driving to my parents house, and saw them sitting in someones yard next to a PT. So I pulled in and asked if they were for sale, she said they were and asked what I wanted to pay. I was thinking $300-$400. She said "I'll let you have em' for $100 since your parents live right there and I'm scarred to post them on craigslist so you're helping me out" lol. I responded with " I'll be back with cash in 20 minutes" haha

If the M4a can be found in the same price range, it's not even a competition.

I know for fact two M3a's can do 8k if wired low enough.

M4a is strongest amp on that list by a long shot. I love mine, tons of clean power. Built well. Just over all amazing amp.

Suggesting running at .5 is crazy overkill on the electrical... We don't know what he has and I'd be scared regardless of killing the amp quicker... Being tested at .5 and running daily are 2 different things, not everyone has your expertise and apparently awesome budgets Drew.. lol I have far from an awesome budget. I don't feel .5 is that bad of a strain on electrical or a decent amplifier. OP, out of the two I'd reccommend the BRZ, I've seen good things from Hifonics in the past.

I will get a second one at some point. But I think it'll be ok at .25.

Just depends on the total power you will have. But with around 1,200-1,500w you'd be fine at .5ohm.

Are you looking to buy new no matter what? Also, are you willing to run .5ohm?

Why not spend more money on a smaller more quality amp? Woofers can't do anything with 2,400+w of dirty power.....
