Z4 is the new 4" Coil. Not sure what frequency they did last year but it was close to a 160 at 1 MWSPL event and it did a 152.7 at MWSPL finals with 4 very weak and beat to shit 9515G's Buddy of mine and dvalue's does a 160+ with 4 9515G's and 4 M3's. lol

160 db has been done on music in at least 3 DD rides I have personally seen, two of them only had 4 15"s as well. lol All below 45Hz as well. The 99Z would be considered the "Holy Grail" in my mind.

pioneer prs 880 or 800 both sweet units with ALL of those options listed below Good luck finding one. Many people are trying to pick these up now since they were such a reasonable price and the price of the new pioneer comparable unit is nearly 3 times the price. That is a great option but I don't think he needs nearly that many features. If you can find a 800 or 880 I would be glad to switch you for my 980bt and even kick in some money on my end. The 800/880's can be found if needed. I have one of each, and know where at least one more 800 is. Just make a "WTB" thread in the classifieds section.

It's not a perfect 90db cut off, the frequencies still play, just not as loud as they could. In an active system, it's very rare the mids LPF is the same as the tweeters HPF. Usually a decent gap between the two in fact.

1. Just wire them together by removing the metal ring and stripping the insulation. 2. You don't need that wire. 3. The blue w/ stripe is for your amps. Only reason car would need it is to turn on stock amps. 4. Then you don't need it.

All Solo X motors have the same coil. The new cartridges should slide right in.

Well, with smaller companies. Putting time, money, resources, and such into small things like that can raise the final cost much higher. A larger company like Kicker, Rockford, or JL can spend the money then spread the cost over the R&D to make them prettier over say 100,000 subs, where as a small company can only spread the cost over say 1,000 subs. But yes, the new RF stuff looks GREAT!
